So ... with Valentine's Day just around the corner, I was planning to choose love for this week's challenge theme.
Unfortunately, the Portrait Challenge has beat me it.
So, I'm going with flowers. I realize Valentine's Day is toward the end of this week's theme, and it may make more sense to use this next week. But I am hope this will inspire everyone to try to use flowers that are not roses.  By all means, feel free to use roses if that's your preference.

I would love to jump in and join this challenge...I am VERY new to taking my camera off auto mode...I also do not know how to post the settings...if someone could help me I would appreciate it...I just started last week taking the 12 week class on here...here is my flower picture while I played around with my aperture...I would soooo be open to some CC. My goal this year is to be able to take much better pictures.

OMG! I was still trying to figure out someting wiht Symetry and here we are at week 6 already.
This time and I have to admit by mere coincidence I just got one with flowers the past weekend at my syster's home so finally I'm on time for the challenge.

Hi, I'm Nancy and a newbie. I do a lot of photography and a lot of Photoshop work with some of it, also. May I post a photo of mine that I have worked on in Photoshop? There may be some interest in learning my techniques? If this is a problem I will delete and won't post further manipulated photos. My "Purple Poppy".

I bought some flowers when I bought groceries to play with having no idea you would pick flowers and then I kinda wasn't in the mood to shoot them .... so I was playing around with logos(I get bored with the same one all the time) and decided to enter it for this...  |

Time seems to fly so quickly, these days, that it's hard to keep track if you've taken a photo this week or last...mine I know were not taken recently though, because they were mostly taken in my garden, which is now under snow, without a flower in sight.  | |

The goal is to use new photos. I created this challenge to get out and shoot more. Using old photos would be rather counterproductive. |

Veronica - I can't see your image.
Teresa - The first thing I would recommend is to upload your pictures in a smaller size. I can't see the whole thing without scrolling considerably.
Can you re-post it, preferably in a new thread.

..... 3. If you would like CC, please re-post the photo in a new thread.
To post your settings, you would need to locate the metadata for the image. The photo editing software can display the info, but since I don't know what software you are using I can't point you to the exact location/steps to display it. Usually, it will be under some heading such as Info. You can also right click the image in Windows and click on properties. The metadata is also displayed there. Hope that helps a bit.
Nancy - you can feel free to post any image you'd like. There really is no restriction other than the photo should be one that was taken recently.

So I just realized that I haven't posted to my own challenge yet. 
I actually have a NEW flower photo to post to this but haven't processed it yet.
I'd like to post one that I took a few weeks ago in the meantime.
