And the winner for March color challenge is Memories5 (Jennifer) with her March 11th, 8:17 entry of pastels.

Thank You Lori, I am honored to have my image chosen for the February color challenge.

I am looking forward to the colors of Easter and spring. The color for March will be "Pastels". It can be one pastel color or a combination. It will still be a good while before I see signs of spring here in Michigan but hopefully most of you will begin to enjoy spring colors soon. If you are in a colder climate then hopefully you can find pretty pastel colors inside

A quick google images search for pastel colors might give you some inspiration.

RULES: Winner of the previous color challenge will state the color for the challenge and then pick the winner. The winner will then be responsible for starting the next color, date to complete, and choose the winner-so on and so forth!

The Previous Color Challenge Winner may participate but is not eligible for winning the challenge.

All pictures must be NEW, and if you can post your settings, that is great, but don't worry about it as a requirement.

Entries must be posted by March 31st.

Can't wait to see your entries!!

Sounds like fun JoAnn.

Easter falls in March this year so there should be lots of pastel decorations and Easter themed things around to inspire us.

This will be tough for me. This week I went to Jilava Prison... used as a detention and torture center for enemies of the state. So... who's ready for spring??? LOL. Not much pastel going on there. Next week I'm going with my family for a weekend in London, hoping it's a little more cheerful.

If the theme this month was heartbreak or desolation... I'd have it!
Meanwhile, this is the closest to pastel that I found at the abandoned prison:

Jeune girl what is the object in your picture.... the color blue is pretty, the image is interesting but I have no idea what it is. I like that you were able to think outside the box for pastel.

Coolbeans looks like you found some pastels! Beautiful flower shot.

I have been looking for pastels too! Of course mine don't count for the challenge. The heart shot is new, I bought valentine candy to shoot before Valentine's Day and just now got around to shooting it....life has been crazy lately

I thought this was a very fitting color challenge with Spring/Easter this month. Here is my try: Love the other entries

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it.

It seems the board is quiet on this beautiful Monday. I just took these and added a placemat for a little extra color of pastels.

Wow, leave for a couple of hours and this thread has exploded in pastels!!!

Love your kitty Gardencat!!!

As for my photo, believe it or not, taken at an abandoned prison that held enemies of the communist state. The frame is a small window into one of the cells. It was stuffed with colorful cloth strips and the color around was a pretty green. Not much to fit the pastel category but I tried
