I am going to Norway for a week in June. Just wondering if any peas live there could give me a list of must see must do things.

I visited Norway for a week back in 2005. We spent most our time in the fjords. What is your itinerary? Everything we did is posted here:

Norway 2005

I really enjoyed Norway - beautiful country and the people were friendly. I would like to go back some day with husband and daughter (I went on the trip with a friend). And I'd like to see Oslo again after reading the Jo Nesbo mystery series.

Katherine I will be staying in Oslo. My sister was hired as a scientist for some research and will be there for about six weeks. She will be free on the weekends. I will be there for two weekends so thats mostly when I will be traveling from Oslo. From what I see the country is so very beautiful. Ill have to check out your photos for ideas. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we didn't have much time in Oslo, but from what we saw it was a wonderful city (I wish we had had more time). We visited Vigeland's sculpture park (in the rain, why I don't have any pictures of it) and I thought it was really neat. We also saw the Viking ship museum (can't remember the name off the top of my head), and it was a cool stop too. The city was very walkable, easy to get around, clean, and nice. You'll have fun exploring it.

That's great you'll have a chance to take some weekend trips from Oslo. The fjords are really beautiful. And so many waterfalls!

Have a fun trip. I'll keep a look out for the pictures.

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it.

I went to Norway in 2008 for two weeks. My dad's family is from Norway. I can not wait to return and bring my children. It is the most beautiful country I have ever seen. WOW

Bergen was my favourite city! Google Norway in a nutshell. We did that tour and it was awesome. The Flam railway is another must see/do. The Geiranger Fjord is amazing! Also a must see that I would recommend. You will see that 7 sisters waterfalls and so many more!! I could go on and on!!

To me Oslo was nice to visit but very similar to many other big city centers. I would not spend much time in Oslo on my next trip. That begin said the Viking Ship Museum is worth a visit in my opinion.

The many Stave churches are wonderful to see in many areas of Norway.

I did not see it but will for sure go on my next visit to The Pulpit Rock. Looks breathtaking!

I don't think you will be disappointed with any place you visit in Norway!

When you are there make sure you taste some Lefse! You will not be disappointed with Lefse! I would love to have some now. We have tried to make it here but it is just not the same!!
