Does anyone have a Canon 6D? It gets mixed reviews, so I'm curious... Thanks!

I have one. What are you wanting to know?
EVERYTHING gets mixed reviews simply because different people have different needs and different expectations. Not everyone is good about thinking ahead of their needs/expectations and determining if the specific piece of gear meets those needs/exp.

What Your Kit Lens Can Do For You

Canon 60d, Canon 24-70mm 2.8L, Canon 70-200mm 2.8L, 50mm 1.8, 28-80, 75-300mm and Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro

I LOVED that answer:
EVERYTHING gets mixed reviews...
Have a blessed day!

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it.

That is a good point. I guess I should've been more specific... The 6D gets a lot of criticism for it's auto focus. I am currently using a rebel and I am beyond ready to upgrade. I was holding out to see what the 70D specs looked like but I'm not sure when that will be released. So I have started to take another look at the 6D and 7D as a replacement.
I live in chicago so 90% of my photos are indoor of my little kids that are constantly moving. I like the FPS and auto focus system of the 7D, but full frame is better in low light. I stink at manual focus. Opinions on what would give me the most benefit? Thanks!

I mis-read this earlier as asking about the 60D. Advice still stands that everything gets mixed reviews. But I can't offer personal experience advice.

Your additional comments will be a good starting place for others who have experience. In th meantime, when reading reviews try to determine where the reviewer is coming from. Someone who has been shooting commerically for years with top of the line gear is apt to be disastified with something that is lower down the line. Same can be said of reviewers who are loaned equipment to test out. It can be easy to expect everything to live up to the top model specs.

I'd be really surprised at a d6 having focus issues since even the lower level models don't have focus issues. That seems off to me, kwim?

When I was reading review at lensrentals.com, one of the models(and I am admittedly too lazy to go figure out which one) was reviewed with AF issues. Not so much as an inability as a timing factor, if memory serves. But, according to the review, it wasn't enough of a factor to weigh in the decision.
