I've been working a lot, in the last few weeks, on the post processing and learning more tools and techniques in photoshop so, while these are mostly not from pictures taken this week, they are freshly re-imagined and edited. Some may fine them weird and funky but it is a learning process.

Sharon, I love the one of the messy face, lol!

Gardencat, what a great photo of the falls, I love the perspective.

I took this earlier in the week but just edited it yesterday. One of me, using my Canon 50mm 1.8 lens on the tripod.

Besides looking for Spring flowers today last night I want hunting for the aurora borealis. It was supposed to be visible by some strange occurance in the atmosphere and OH was one of the states that it might become visable. I went to a dark sky park and waited and waited. But no appearance. headed home around 1:30. But it was a fun night with many there to hopefull get a chance to see it. I got there at sunset to get set up and did capture kind of an interesting sunset with all the cloud cover.

This was taken last week while we were in the NC mountains. Since nothing was blooming yet there, I bought some flowers at the grocery store.

I wanted to use this last week and start up Florals Fridays again but we went on a drive instead.

Whoa! Was that Kerry? Long time, no see girl!

I am simply horrible about posting pictures for the threads because it is a PITA loading elsewhere, figure sizing so it is less than gargantuan and reposting over here.

The powers that be here at 2Peas could go back to making it possible to upload a picture directly from your computer to the gallery and then link in a post - you might see more action ... but they took that option away and consequently there has been less participation in posting images in threads. (from my observation)

Honestly, when was the last time any of you visited the gallery? I used to scroll through it religiously and now - I probably haven't ventured over there in, well, . . . forever.

ok, grip session done.

Great group of pictures here.

carry on!

What awesome photos everyone. It is so fun seeing them. Laulley your shot has it al.. blue skies and water, spring green grass and those beautiful snow capped mountains in the background. Love your daughters red hair and eyes Miz. Did you ake the dog picture with a lens baby? It has that feel to it. Love it. Welcome pigs fly. Thanks for participating. We have water towers like that on my area too. They usually have the towns name on it in Bright Red. Interesting perspective.

I love seeing all these photos! I think that's what I've missed the most since the board has quieted down so much.

Yes, Nicki, I am still here! I've just been so darned busy with work and life that I'm pooped when I get home and just don't get the camera out. Things are about to change though as all the flowers in the yard are beginning to bloom and I should be a first-time grandmother by the end of today.

Wow Kerry how exciting that your going to be a grandmother. I am a grandmother to one of the sweetest little grandaughters ever. Granddaughter #2 is due May 16th. Grandparenting is the best. Cant wait to see all those wonderful baby pictures you will be doing. Sadly my daughter and her husband live 9 hours away.

Would anyone be willing to post their lens and camera information for the photos they've taken? I'm on a quest to learn more about photography and would like to see what equipment and settings are being used. I feel like I have an overwhelming amount to learn.

Just got back from Holland/Belgium and shot this one on the road. 24-70 lens... not sure of the settings but aperture was around 5.6.

Yes, it's prime Tulip season in Holland (though I heard they had to import some since it's been a cold winter for them)
