Anymore?

ETA: It's discouraging when some of the links to individual sketches no longer work. We have to remember that several years ago, we accidentally lost many of our posts. Don't give up; even in a long list of links that don't work, some will still be good.

It's odd. I was just looking at Sketch 1 from 2005, but when I clicked on it a second time, I found myself on the home page. What's up with that?

This is a good idea Daria. Right now I actually have all of these bookmarked so I don't lose track of them, but now I can get rid of all of them and just have one bookmark for this thread. Thanks.

Triple the Sketch offers a weekly sketch on Fridays that can be used for scrapbook layouts, tags, or cards. The owner is a pea named identicaltriplets.

This one has card sketches and corresponding layout sketches. Be sure to go back in the archives. There are a lot of card sketches.

A while ago I uploaded all 2007 stamping board sketches to box.net, but I never got to sharing the link here

Download 2007 Stamping Board Sketches
Hope this works, and they are printable
Maybe I can do this for 2008 sketches too, I'm too busy to keep up with everything I did before...

Craft Critique's 09/08/08 entry is about blogs that offer sketches. Kim Fox is reviewing two in depth, 2sketches4you and Card Positioning Systems.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the report, you'll find links to more, including Two Peas! The other links, in case you don't find this article, are: Sketch This! (no longer a working link), Triple the Sketch, Splitcoaststampers which most of us can find, and Two Peas which we all can find.

Enjoy.

Enjoy.

This Thread has added more sources of sketches. Here are the ones that aren't already listed here:

From winjes: Clean and Simple Stamping

From doggonecrafts: 365 Cards

From StampEZ: OZ-somestamps

From OkiScrapper: Friday's Viva la Verve

From crafty al: SheetLoad of Cards Archives I put the link to the archives since there won't be any more new issues of SheetLoad. The archives are suppose to be available until May 2010.

There's also "sketch this" and "pencil lines" sketches, which are mostly layouts, but they can often be adapted towards card-making.

Now that Kimber has renewed our interest in sketches, I thought I'd look for our Resource Thread on card sketches. It wasn't easy to find it. I had to Google it!

I went through the thread, clicking on all the links. Some didn't work anymore because they have the word "kaboose" in the link. I couldn't fix the ones that are not in my posts, but I was able to repost the Two-Peas related links in the original post without that word so those links work. Thank you so much to those who compiled all our sketches and linked them here.

Some other links don't work because sites have closed. However, many still do work and are still active. I deleted a couple of my posts that had links to closed sites.

Of course, I added Kimber's Saturday Card Sketch Challenge to the original post. As far as I can see, we haven't had sketches here since 2008 ended. I'm grateful that Kimber has started them up again.

Added this thread to the Welcome to Stamping Sticky Post so it should be easier to find in the future!

If anyone finds good resource posts like this one, that aren't already on the Welcome Sticky Post, please PeaMail me so I can add it!

Anne, thank you!

If people haven't found it yet, here's Anne's Sticky Post: Welcome and About Stamping Events. This thread is about so much more than the title suggests. It has a ton of links to our resource threads covering any number of topics. If you're looking for an elusive post, check Anne's post; you just might find it there.
