Chatty games are just for fun...

What WF11 Challenge do you want to try first?
Are you going to do just one challenge or a combo?

I think I'm going to do a scene first, b/c I love scenes and have stamps in mind already.

Not sure if I can combine this with any others, but I won't start until tomorrow so I'll see if any other challenges are posted that would work with it.

If I get a chance to get in my crafty space, I think I am going to try a combination of Anna-Karin's "Make a Scene" challenge, Laura's "Just Add Glitter" challenge, and Daniel's "Get Frame-ous" challenge.

Of course, I actually have to "find" my crafty table first ...

I'll probably go 'combo' too, Ann. Given the amount of time it takes me to get a piece finished (& the need to snail it to a pal for uploading), it's the best way for me to play...

My first combo? I'm leaning toward quilt/coloring/glitter (Cindi/Betsy/Laura). Might be able to include some of the 'stitch' ones, too.

Also very much jonesing to do the scene--might combo it with an 'outside-the-frame' piece.

So looking forward to what other hosts will be asking--'specially metal & jewelry...

I have done the Spring challenge already, just because there a lot of elements involved and I knew it would take me awhile. I am not sure what's next!

I will be thinking on this in my dreams tonight and let my mojo take to me there tomorrow. In the meantime I will be organizing some thoughts for Anna-Karin's scene challenge and I am thinking on the sewing challenge.

Given my limited selection of supplies, I'll be trying the Praise and Case challenge. I create best when I use another stamper's project as my inspiration.

I love seeing everyone's answers! It is fun seeing how we each experience Winterfest differently and seeing what inspires others. Very cool!

Honestly, I don't know.

When I dump a bag of tennis balls out in front of my dog he goes all crazy, not knowing which ball to pick up first, wanting to pick them all up in his mouth at the same time. That is what I feel like.

Who knew stamping could get me stressed out and excited all at the same time...lol

There are so many challenges that have caught my eye, but I have a new stamp set from Papertrey Ink that I have been dying to try and I think the "Quilt inspired" challenge might just get me to break them out...

It's Day One, and I'm doing what I always do the first day--wandering around and looking. I want to do everything, but . . .

I probably won't do any of the projects until people start posting their work and commenting in the discussion threads; that's what energizes me.

I've saved the Master Thread on my harddrive--something I started back when Two Peas used to go down during our events, and I also copy each challenge blog. In other words, I'm puttering.

Maybe I should go in and clean off my craft space.

I'm taking a short (don't want to lose my momentum) break from working on a 'combo' piece.

So far I'm covering 'metal', 'glitter', 'BG' with it. Gonna shoot for 'age & distress', too. Glad that challenge refers to the challenge not me...

It's tempting to start the scene plus piece, but gonna try to keep my focus on getting the first one done--first.

That said? I'm having a ball & it's only DAY #1!

LOL Daniel!!!! Thanks for making me chuckle. I was thinking of myself when I came up with that title. Some days I just feel "Aged & Distressed." LOL!!! And I am still trying to decide where I want to start. Off to look at the challenges again!

Hmmmm... to tell the truth, this is where I am going to HAVE to start. There is no room left on my crafty desk to even ink something up!

I chose two of the challenges to complete today. They are "Inspired by Quilts", and "Make Your Own Background". I will post them later when I have the time. I will try to complete at least one more challenge, however, I am short on time. Unfortunately, I will be away from home most of Winterfest.

Some sort of combo. I have a few ideas floating around in my head, and am just looking forward to playing with the stamps some very soon.

I would have said the inchie jewelry challenge, but now I can't find it. What happened to it?

I am starting with a combo: Make Your Own Background and Embossed Resist. But I am most excited to try the Dimension in Metal!

I was looking forward to the inchie challenge too - even went to the beading shop to buy some findings and charms!

I did my first card last night which combined LOTS of challenges and took ages! Going out now and will photo later. It combines my own Stitch in Time with Sew Cute, Create a Scene, Just add Glitter and Inspired by Quilts.
