1. PeaName/First Name: prospurring / Anne
2. Family/Pets: Hubby & 2 cats: Melody & Coda
3. Home Location: near Raleigh, NC
4. Have you participated in Stamping Events at Two Peas before? Or are you new? SOF10, Thinking Inking Retake 2010, WF10,SOF09, Thinking Inking 2009, Stamp Camp 2008, SOF08, WSW08.
5. Where do you stamp? corner of a spare bedroom ... my "crafty space"
6. Theme for which you have the most stamps: animals/nature
7. Do you prefer acrylic or rubber or digital/hybrid? I prefer cling stamps that are rubber but you mount on acrylic blocks, followed by clear stamps. They are easier for me to position. I haven't done much digital so I can't really say.
8. Do you prefer mounted or unmounted? Unmounted
9. Do you have any new, uninked stamps? Yes! And I'm itching to use them!
10. What are your favorite stamp manufacturers? Hero Arts, Magenta, Impression Obsession.
11. What are you letting slide to participate in WF11? Laundry, housework, the usual!
12. Stamping pet peeve: Running out of space! I have a small crafty space, so I have to limit my supplies and purchases, or get rid of something to make room for something new. It's hard to say goodbye to old friends!
Bonus: What one piece of advice would you give to someone new to stamping or new to the Two Peas Stamping Board? If you're new to stamping or new here on the Two Peas Stamping Board, I'd recommend looking for Daria's *CLASSIC THREADS*. Lots of good information there to get you started!

Hi Anne!

We've met before but it's been a long time...
My name is Leslie, however my peaname is Beffie (my daughter's nickname).
I live in the southeast U.S. with my dh and our 2 teenage children. We share our home with 2 indoor pups and 1 beast who hangs out in our garage.

Although I have participated in these events before, I continue to consider myself quite new. Both my stamping supplies and my time are quite limited so I'm not as productive as I'd like to be. When I'm able, I have created a space in my bedroom. I seem to collect more background stamps (rubber, wood mounted) than anything else.

I certainly have new stamps! While I may not have a lot of time to actually create anything, I do make time to shop for stamps! Hero Arts is my favorite manufacturer at the moment.

Surprisingly, I'm not going to miss anything important to participate. It's currently a very, VERY rainy day at my home today so we're staying at home. Laundry and groceries can wait until tomorrow.

No advice to share here but I'll read anything someone else might want to offer me!

I look forward to learning new things! Leslie

Here goes, Anne...

1. Looser/Daniel
2. Mom & a sister
3. Northeast PA (sorta)
4. Been part of our parties since we began them.
5. Work desk in my bedroom.
6. Lots of stamps, but no theme--least type? Sentiment stamps.
7&8. Unmounted plain rubber--no cushions.
9. Lots of 'virginal' stamps!
10. Lately? I Break For Stamps.
11. Nothing in particular sliding.
12. Locating a particular stamp in my messy stash.

Bonus: I strongly urge stampers (new & old) to ditch 'perfect' & that includes sharing pieces that you think are awful. Lots of times others will love them or be able to help you out. BTDT!

1. PeaName/First Name:EllenPea/Ellen
2. Family/Pets: Husband and 2 cats, Segunda and Lombard in my house. Two stepkids, a son-in-law and granddaughter elsewhere.
3. Home Location: near Riverside, CA
4. Have you participated in Stamping Events at Two Peas before? Or are you new? I have wandered over here a number of times during events like these (I always lose my annual Pea during Winterfest), but primarily hang out on the GS board.
5. Where do you stamp? Normally in my craft room, but if DH is around I may take the stamps into the living room and work from the TV tray. Same goes for scrapbook projects.
6. Theme for which you have the most stampsrobably flowers, maybe birthday.
7. Do you prefer acrylic or rubber or digital/hybrid? I'm using acrylics more these days, but still like rubber too.
8. Do you prefer mounted or unmounted? Both have their advantages.
9. Do you have any new, uninked stamps? A few
10. What are your favorite stamp manufacturers? Inkadinkadoo is the one I have the most of
11. What are you letting slide to participate in WF11? I am not sure. Normally at this time, I would be hiking with my friends. But today I have to go to work, from about 10 to 1:30 or 2. Because of that, I couldn't hike today, but I was able to send DH off to his monthly breakfast. So, what I don't do instead of Winterfest after I get back home from work depends on what my DH wants to do or wants me to do. There will have to be my usual minimal amount of housework done sometime this week.
12. Stamping pet peeve: When I stamp letters and they don't stamp right!
Bonus: What one piece of advice would you give to someone new to stamping or new to the Two Peas Stamping Board? This board has some great "help" threads that they keep fairly active.

Name: Furrypea...you can call me Furry
Family/Pets: Only my loveable furball (dog)
Have you participated in Stamping Events at 2-Peas before: Yes, several.
Where do you stamp: In my craft room or where ever is convenient.
Theme for which you have the most stamps:I guess holiday, but that would include Christmas, Halloween, Valentines and Birthdays.

Do you prefer acrylic or rubber: Both for different reasons.
Do you prefer mounted or unmounted: Both for different reasons.
Do you have any new, uninked stamps: Of, course.
What are SOME OF your favorite stamp manufacturers: Hero Arts, Studio Calico, the defunct CHF, Technique Tuesday.

What are you letting slide to participate in WF11: Not much. Instead of participating all on one weekend as in the past, I am spreading this out throught the whole week.

Stamping pet peeve: When I !LOVE! one or two stamps from a set, but the price is not worth buying the whole set.

Bonus...What one piece of advice would you give to someone new to stamping: Don't buy stamps pads in every color until you decide exactly what kind of stamping you want to do. (Do you want to color-in stamp images?, Do you want to scrapbook stamp, or card stamp? Do you want to stamp cards Stampin Up style, or more technique type stamping?)

2. Family/Pets: son and daughter/cats (my Dad's cat, stray cats inside and outside)
3. Home Location: San Francisco Bay Area
4. Have you participated in Stamping Events at Two Peas before? Or are you new? I'm a charter member of our stamping events!
5. Where do you stamp? In my craft room, at the kitchen table, at Nora's house
6. Theme for which you have the most stamps: Flowers/Trees/Leaves? Backgrounds? Christmas? I'm pretty well supplied.
7. Do you prefer acrylic or rubber or digital/hybrid? Definitely rubber
8. Do you prefer mounted or unmounted? I like using both, but I prefer to buy unmounted to save space.
9. Do you have any new, uninked stamps? Oh, yeah! And old ones I bought used that I haven't inked up myself.
10. What are your favorite stamp manufacturers? PSX, Magenta, Judikins, Michael Strong, Stampa Rosa, Stamp a Mania, Stamp Camp and so many more . . .
11. What are you letting slide to participate in WF11? Sleep.
12. Stamping pet peeve: Lack of space. I do have a small room, but it's not as organized as I would like. OK. I have too much stuff.
Bonus: What one piece of advice would you give to someone new to stamping or new to the Two Peas Stamping Board? Don't buy everything in sight. Before purchasing a new stamp that you love, ask yourself if you already have a stamp that has the same theme and feeling. Start keeping a stamping index right away with your very first purchase so it doesn't become a humungous task down the road. Keeping a binder with all your images sorted by theme will help you to not duplicate your purchases.

Hello Dianne (SageBrush)! Glad you play along, even if it takes extra time. This event will have a "hangover week", where you can post projects for any of the original Winterfest challenges. So if you don't finish during the first week, post during hangover week!

Hi Laura (lpeitz)! I can related to your stamping pet peeve! I hate it when I forget to include something and stamp it directly on my project ... and it is crooked or smears! Ugh! That's why I try to plan things so everything is on a layer! Doesn't always work out though!

Hello Sherry (tagsbear)! Nice to see you again! I agree! There are so many stamps that I want! But, I have some I haven't even inked yet, so I don't want to get ahead of myself. Sometimes I feel like I get all caught up in the shopping and not the playing / inking. I'm trying to change that.
