Welcome to my WF11 Sew Cute Challenge!
The rules are going to be simple since this my first time hosting a challenge.
My challenge is to make a cute card, layout, ATC, ect. with some type of sewing on it. It can be machine or hand sewing. It doesn't have to be nothing fancy, unless you want it fancy haha.
A cute image can be teddy bears, little girls, little boys, babies, dogs, cats ect. anything "cute".
You can combine this with other challenges .
You can upload your card from Saturday March 5, 2011 until Sunday March 13, 2011.
Don't forget to check the challenge box when you upload your card in the stamping gallery.
Two winners will be chosen at random from all the entries and each will receive a brand new Magnolia stamp.
I will announce the winner on March 14, 2011.
Have fun!
I cant wait to see what you create!

This will be a fun challenge, Sherry. I'm looking forward to doing some stitching on my card. I always love the look, but don't use it. My sewing machine hates me so I'll do hand-stitching. Your sample card is darling.
BTW, the link you have to your blog goes to the opening page of your blog, not to the blog for this challenge. I know you can see it, but it's not it. Trust me. This has been an on-going problem in the past so I have instructions all written up and ready to go:
Use the URL for your challenge, not for the opening page of the blog. If you are in the right place, you'll see "You are viewing a single post. Click here to visit ___'s Blog." right above the box with your message. If you don't see that message, then click on the title of your challenge to take you to that page.
If you want to see the projects posted to your challeng blog, go here:

I'm going to try this. I have a Bernina sewing machine that I am afraid to use, so this will force me to plug it in LOL. What I don't have are any "cute" stamps, so as an added bonus, I get to go shopping in the morning! |

Thanks for sponsoring this challenge! I've been wanting to stitch on a card but haven't done it yet. Part of the problem for me is clearing a flat surface for the sewing machine. Maybe this will be the year?!! I love your card, especially the stitching on the cute birdie background paper! |

Great idea to combine the 'cute' and 'sewing' themes! Thanks for hosting Sherry!
Cindi, I also often struggle to clear enough space for my sewing machine, but I decided that if I want to sew I have to go through the trouble of taking the machine out and setting it up, because I really love stitching on my cards. I really wish I had enough space on my desk to leave the machine out always. |

All of the entries were wonderful! I really enjoyed being a first time hostess!
I wrote everyones name down on squares of paper. Put them all in a bowl. I tried to get one of my dogs to pull out a name, but when they found out it wasnt food, they wanted nothing to do with it.
I asked my daughter to pull out two papers and she thought I had wrote down boys names for her to take to the concert with her on Friday! LOL
So.. 12 names went onto the hat and two came out!
Congratulations to the winners:

I received my prize today! Thank you so much for my first Magnolia stamp and all the other goodies. I am really looking forward to practicing my Copic techniques on all the stamped images you sent. Thanks! I was wondering what kind of paper the images are stamped on, I can tell there are two different types, I am trying all different types to find the one I like best.
Thank you,
