Hey Everyone

Hope you are all doing well!!!!

I have been out of doing cards or anything for the last couple of years.

I took out my zip dry glue and they have hardened and sunk 1/2 way down the bottle, is there any way to revive them? i have about 6 or so bottles.

I always seem to stock up, now I am using my adhesive tape but that goes thru fast.

any help or tips??\

Thanks

DH knows a lot about glues and he says that most kinds cannot be re-dispersed (aka redissolved) again once they dry. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Hi, Nazzy. I don't know about your glue although I can certainly sympathize. I just wanted to drop in and say hello and tell you it's really nice to see you here.

Hooray! Nazzy's got her groove on! I knew I had just read something about zip dry ... I found this :

If glue thickens, thin with a few drops of paint thinner or turpentine.

on Beacon's website. They are the manufacturers of zip dry. Might be worth a try?

Don't know much about glues...
But it is nice to see you!
Getting back into craftying during the NHL Lockout, eh?
Looking for something else to do most evenings?

Hi Anne and Cindi,, been doing some xmas cards for my mom...did a phone book for work...\\

I will try that Anne, my dad has everything in this house and he is always doing something, this Sunday he is turning 80 but seems like he is early 70's the way he goes, I say its his dog that keeps him young.

I did go out and buy a bottle of zip dry, I can do quite a few cards with it rather than tape all the time.

Great to see most of the gang still here!!!

Oh and speaking of Xmas cards i bought no paper!!! I still have a good stash from a couple of years ago, i did go through it today and realized what the heck did I buy so much of BG Eskimo Kisses, what was I thinking!!! LOL

I started losing interest of NHL, too me they are way overpaid and people work hard to buy tickets for themselves and if their families which is mucho $$$$$ CBC Canadian channel has Hockey Night IN Canada and they are replaying old memorable games, couple of weeks ago was the canucks vs the flames. I could name every single player on that team LOL.

Talk to you soon everyone

Sorry to hear you lost interest in the NHL, Nazzy. I just wanted to say that this is a lockout, meaning that the OWNERS are holding out for a larger cut of the pie - NOT the players. The players wanted to continue to play and give the fans a season. I am rooting for the players and I'm sad to see that the owners are so greedy as to damage the sport and cause fans like you to lose interest.

either way they are overpaid. in the past couple of years its been off and on for me, i just look at the stats, rather than watching the game, but I will always pay attention to ryan Kesler LOL, when i read when they sign their contracts for so much money its crazy... maybe soon i will get interested again who knows.

i read in the Vancouver sun that the canuck coach moved back in with his parents in Quebec.. i guess its nice as his parents are getting old.

everyone have a great Friday oh i shall get ready for work now.. start the late shift 1130-8pm grrrr

but thank god its friday!!!!! LOL

Be sure to keep the WHITE CAP and put it back on when not using the Zip Dry....mine is ok opened for over a year as long as that cap is on.
