As promised, here is a card sketch challenge! Please check out the blog for the sketch, a link to my model card, and all the important details:
Card Sketch Challenge Blog
I've called it #1, not because I plan to offer a card sketch regularly, but just so that we can keep track if anyone decides to offer one. So please feel free to come up with a sketch and start a #2 thread (after this one is finished, of course!).
Have fun! (and please combine with any other challenges if you wish) |

Christin!!! I like the way you THINK!!! Not just a great sketch challenge, but also the way you address the possibility of another StamPea offering a '#2'. Not only is that 'gracious' on your part, but also opens up the idea of an on-going challenge with multiple hosts.
May I offer a suggestion about that? Apart from someone else just doing #2, I would suggest that they PM you so it doesn't get confusing. Yeah! Look who's talking about 'confusing', huh? |

I very much like your sketch and have a question. Is stamping in the three boxes mandatory - could it be an embellishment or could it be part of a photo, or an embossed image.
Then having the sentiment a stamp.
Just want to make sure. I would enjoy doing either the stamping, photo or embossing.
Thanks

Thanks for your enthusiasm, everyone!
Ann, I realized after I'd posted it that I forgot to say whether stamping is a requirement. So I'll say "no", it's not a requirement this time. I'm also conscious that some people come to this board as a 'cardmaking' board, so may not be stampers.
Daniel, I'll reply to you later. Out of time! |

LOL. I missed the absence of 'stamping required'. I automatically assume (yeah. I know about assuming ) that stamping is a 'given'.
Thanx for the update, Christin.
I have a few ideas, but might tackle the 'sentiment' first. Not my strong suit for stamping them. |

Glad to oblige, Cropduster!
Daniel, I've got to the point of assuming that stamping is a requirement, too, but since I forgot to mention it...
But I'm thinking now.... Like I said, this Board is also frequented by non-stampers, so maybe we should keep this challenge open for them, too. (it's actually also the 'cardmakers' board on the iPhone app, and used to be on the website, too - that's how I came to it, then I fell in love with stamping!). |

Me too Christin!! I came to Twopeas b/c I am a cardmaker and found Twopeas App and it had a cardmaking section, thus I joined Twopeas. It was after I started hanging out with everyone here that I started stamping! Sometimes it is fun (for me at least) to try to make a card w/o stamping since that was what I always did before Twopeas! |

FYI, I added some comments about stamping requirements over at Daniel's Ongoing Challenges Thread. I thought maybe others might want to chime in on it and that seemed like an appropriate place to "talk." |

Heidi, I was planning to start a master thread for card sketches, but will have to leave it till next week as I'm a bit out of action this week. I'm glad you're going to open the photo inspiration up to other hosts, too - I might have a go at that at some point! I think it's great the way the challenges seem to be going this year. Lots of fun and inspiration. |

I fought the good fight... I lost!
I was 'finished' with my sketch card. Then it sat there reproaching me. It demanded that I 'finish' it correctly so I did.
Managed to do it without screwing it up. Goes in the mail tomorrow. Goes in a sealed envelope today!!
Thanks for a fun challenge. |

Here is my card and I did use stamping, but sometime, I might use this sketch to showcase some photos.
I had fun with this challenge and like my bold images and colors. Hope you like it to.
I am going to try to do another entry for this challenge - the stamps on on my workspace, so no excuse to not to the 2nd one.
