I am thrilled with the participation in Christmas All Year

Here is the original post to see what it is all about and check out the cards that were made in January.

Woo Hoo for all of you who made your goal. And congrats to those of you who made even one card. It is probably more than you had made last year by the end of January, right?

February's prompt if you'd like one is to use a stencil on a card. They seem to be getting really popular again. Once winterfest starts, you can definitely make Christmas cards to meet a lot of the technique or supply challenges. There is always lots of inspiration during Winterfest.

Happy February! Now go make some cards!

Cool, Cindi! I was planning to make some Christmas cards with embossing paste and stencils. I might also do some stenciling to make backgrounds for stamping.

Thanks for the challenge.

Thanks so much for posting the February edition! I'm sticking with 5 as my goal. Stenciling for backgrounds sounds like a good idea, Daria!

btt

I don't want this to hit the second page! We've been posting so many threads about Winterfest that this is getting close to the bottom. I'm looking forward to using stencils for some of my Christmas cards. I wonder if we can combine this with a Winterfest Challenge.

Looking forward to using my stencils. I haven't used them in a long time and some new ones I have never used! Will get cranking soon!

I was able to complete one today. I combined the 52 weeks prompt with my C&S class to do this one.

Your card is so cute and clean Heidi! I love it! I have to check out the 52 weeks thing. I am also taking a Clean and Simple class online.
I have trouble keeping things simple (in all areas of my life, just ask my husband, haha)!

By the way,
Prospurring and I decided not to allow combo winterfest entries between our challenges so we wouldn't be stepping on each others toes. As it turns out, our challenges are probably different enough that they might be hard to combine anyway.

I have no problem with you using winterfest challenges to make Christmas cards. In fact I think it's a great idea! I doubt Prospurring would care either, you might ask first.

Nope! I don't care! Go for it!

I have to confess that I made not a single card in January. Life just got in the way. But, I am making cards again, and yes, I am counting my Winterfest cards!

February cards so far:
1. Hooray Card (friendship)
2. Triple Time Technique in Negative Card (friendship)

Still have 2 thank you and 1 birthday card to go!

I have three Christmas cards made; one of them is also for the Painted Puzzler Challenge. I've been trying to add the other two to the same post all weekend, and I still can't edit the gallery post to add images.

I'll try again later today, and if it doesn't work, I'll just start a new gallery post for the three of them.

Here's another card for this challenge, this time a friendship one:
You Are Original Friendship Card

So I'm up to 5 cards - which is my goal for February. Winterfest helps!

April, I love your latest Christmas cards.

When I used Nora's cardinal stamp, I loved her design so much, I couldn't even think of another way of using it. Now, you've given me two more. I've been wanting to do faux postage ever since I began stamping. I even made myself a template, but I never used it.

When I went to purchase the cardinal stamp, I saw a chickadde and got that one instead; I figured I could always use Nora's cardinal and she could use my chickadee. Well, now I want my own cardinal. LOL.

Haha Daria! I know just what you mean. After seeing the birch tree stencil a few times, now I really want it! It looks so pretty in April's purple and blue color scheme.

The cards linked in this thread are so inspiring! Congratulations Anne and April on making your goal for February, and to anyone else I missed as well!

I made 3 cards with the help of Winterfest!
Two triple time cards
here and here .

And a foil card.

Oops! Just realized I didn't even use a stencil either. Oh well.

I'm officially stating a new goal . Obviously, I have not been making 10 cards a month so far ... my new goal will be 5 ... even though I haven't made that this month either! Oh well, it's more than I had made this time last year!

Where oh where did February go? Be on the lookout for March's thread!
Thanks for sharing your February cards here.
