Alternatives for Rangers liquid pearls?

I was watching some you tube videos last night and came across several videos using rangers liquid pearls. Some of the techniques were really neat.
I don't own any liquid pearls but I do have some tulip fabric slick writer paint. The ranger product looks very similar. Has anyone tried the tulip paint on paper projects? Or any other paint that's similar? Some other brands that come to mind are Scribbles and Decoart.

And on a side note, anyone remember decorating anything and everything you wore with that paint back in the 80s?!? My mom always had a plethora of it on hand and would let me and my friends jazz up our clothes with it! I loved the puff paint!My mom even taught a few classes with it back in the day!

I used Tulip Fashion Bead Paint on these tags.

yes. I have used fabric dimensional on paper. I like the variety of colors
