Winner Announced- Sophikins

Thanks to everyone who participated. Loved all the cards.

Thanks,
Neysa

Complete details of the Hearts Galore Challenge will be posted on 2/9/13 to my 2 Peas Blog: Wf13 Hearts Galore Blog Post

Supplies you will need:
2 different heart stamps
Something to color the heart images in (ex: colored pencils, copics, markers etc).
A doily

Create a card using 2 different hand colored heart stamped images, one sentiment stamp, and a doily. Stamp the hearts and then hand color the images in. This is your chance to dust off your colored pencils, copics, markers etc. Once you have hand colored the 2 different heart shaped images use them to make a card. The card must also incorporate 1 doily. Complete the card by using a sentiment stamp.

Yes, you can combine this challenge with others, but your card must be a new card creation. A small surprise RAK winner will be drawn randomly from all entries. Please, post it in the stamping gallery. Don't forget to Select the WS13 Hearts Galore Challenge box, and add a comment to my thread stating you completed the challenge. Challenge runs from 2/9 - 2/17.

Thank,
Neysa aka neyw (2 peas name)

I love this challenge! I just got my Sell-A-Bration order from Stampin Up! and I know there was a doily or two in an embellishment kit I purchased.

Here is my Valentine Card for this challenge.

I did this one first so that I could send the Valentine! It is fun and trendy to use the doilies on cards and it looks really great.

Thanks so much for this challenge!

Got mine done. That's my second card completed for the WF13 challenges. The fact that Valentines Day is this week is a big incentive.

Neysa, Thanks for the challenge. I made a bunch of Valentine (LOVE)cards earlier and didn't keep one for my upcoming anniversary so this worked out great!

Yay! Thank you. I jumped into doing these challenges in the fall, and they have been great fun. I have a lot of stamps I had not used much, and all the challenges have been a big help in inspiring me. I have also sent out practically every card I have made for the challenges, so I am glad I took the photos to remember them. Thanks to Neysa and everyone else who has been hosting these.

When is the next big stamping event with a bunch of challenges?

Congratulations, Sophikins!

The next event is World-Wide Staming Week in June.

If you keep checking in, you'll see that several Peas offer different challenges throughout the year.

I'm glad you took photos of your cards. I have all mine here in the gallery; it's fun to be able to look back and see what I've made and very helpful to read the description of how the cards were made.

Hope to see more of your work!

Congratulations, Sophikins!

One way to keep track of when the next Stamping Event is, is to check the Welcome and about Stamping Events sticky post near the top of the Stamping Board. It lists the 3 main events and when they occur. And it has lots of other fun links, too!

Thanks, Neysa, for hosting!

Here's my card I made for Heart Galore challenge:

hearts galore card!

I do feel like it needs something else--like maybe white matting or something but the card was already large!

Thank you neyw for this challenge---it really was a challenge for me---I had a hard time with the doily (picking which one and how to use it!). Thank you for getting me thinking!
