Using the first letter of your Pea or real name (not both), post a word (stamping/craft-related.

One word per post, please. And you must wait until another StamPea has posted before you add another word to your own list. But, otherwise, you may post as much as you wish. Good luck to those whose Peaname starts with a difficult letter.

Be sure to tell us how your word relates even if it seems obvious.

I'm going to 'L' for Looser.

L= Lampshade. It's fun to stamp on readymade or homemade ones for home decor projects.

"Lampshade" Have you ever had one on your head Daniel?

Iring I ink

I have lots! I use more dye and chalk inks than I do pigment inks.

Hmmm. Maybe I should have chosen 'D' instead of 'L'...

L = lightbox. Very useful when doing patterns & such.

L = Lenticular stamping.

Take a piece of paper & create knife-pleats (pleats run in one direction). Stamp on that to create a design.

Now refold the paper so the pleats run in the opposite direction (gives you another 'blank' space). Stamp a different design on it. Result? Two designs on the same face of the paper.

Bone folder. Anybody know why it's called a bone folder when it's made out of plastic?

Bone folders were originally made from bone or ivory. And, 'Yes', there's a difference between the 2 materials. Bone is skeletal & Ivory is tusks, horns.

I think I better go with "M" on this game if I want to play much....

M = markers; to color in stamped images or to color ON stamps to then stamp with....

Notch - The process of creating a part feature that is cut into a (typically) straight edge.
