Between dealing with real life, 2Ps site probs & doing projects for our wonderful challenges, the going can get a little tough.

So consider this thread a place to take a break & a breath from the fray. Chat about anything you like.

Here at 'Casa Di Boone', the weather is sunny & not windy this morning. The 'bad' news is that it looks like we're in for sleet/ice/feezing rain later & into mon. morning. YUK! Give me snow over that any day. 'Course mom has a scheduled dr. appt. monday morning--just a regular checkup. Think we'll reschedule.

Today's dinner is easy-peasy. We're having the 2nd meatpie that we froze last month. Should taste good. Mom's planning (at this point) to make chicken & (homemade) noodles on monday. Not my fave so I'll have something else. Mom also brought up making doughnuts on Tues (Mardi Gras). Don't think we will--way too much work & leftover donuts--I like them fresh from the fryer. I might do some simpler ones, tho' or even do funnel cake just to keep in the spirit of the day. We'll see.

Craftfront? Working on a few pieces, but not pushing.

Hope y'all are having a good today. Stop by & take a 'breather' when you can.

The site is working significantly better today than yesterday. Still glitchy but I am getting things done when I try.

Weather is sunny and cold today. Daniel, I will have to look and see what tomorrow looks like. hmmm.

I have done a few projects. I took over the kitchen table again. We had a pizza picnic in the living room floor last night for dinner. I am about to make a big lunch of breakfast foods (pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc) so we will probably have a light dinner.

I am convinced I will do every challenge at this point. Don't burst my bubble yet.

I can't believe it is almost Mardi Gras. And Valentine's Day.

Hope everyone is having a nice day!

Morning all! Well, it's hubby's birthday here so we are going to have a movie day. I took out steaks for dinner but who knows if we will make it home in time! He likes to do marathon movies, LOL.
Then my birthday is next Monday. He seems to get all the weekends the last few years, hehehe.
Did some birthday cards, finally finished my tag, now to get it in the mail along with the grandkid Valentines.
Hoping to do a couple of challenges, but have a busy week coming so not sure what I'll get done for that.
It is a bit warmer here so the snow is melting and making it icy. Expecting some snow and rain tonight. Glad I don't go to work tomorrow!

I'm still having some site issues but nothing like yesterday.

Super windy and rainy here today. I'm thinking about making chili for dinner.

Daniel, have you and your mom ever tried making donuts out of canned biscuits? They definitely don't hold a candle to homemade but still pretty good.

Heidi, way to go on setting a goal like that! I'm hoping to get a lot of them done but not so sure I will get time too.

Kathy, happy birthday to your hubs and early one to you! Have fun at the movies and eat lots of popcorn .

I've got some cleaning to do today and I hope to complete some challenges. I've got 2 done so far but since the sites been wonky, I'm gonna wait and upload either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Hope all is well with everyone

So your birthday is the 18th, Kathy? Congrats in advance. And HB to your DH--enjoy the movies. Can't recall the last time I was in a movie theater.

Mom had her lunch. A good size piece of meatpie with plenty of broth. She also had a glass of chilled sherry & is sipping a large mug of hot tea. She's content & so am I.

I've done a bit of pre-work for some challenges. Next step is to actually do a bit more, but not real sure which & how I want to proceed. Tends to be my personal 'bete noir' creatively, but I like it that way. Like many of my peers, I'm a craft masochist. If creating doesn't involve pain--mostly mental, but sometimes physical--I'm not all that interested.. 'Fun' takes many forms...

Creating is definitely causing me pain. I just knitted a row on scarf I had started a while back. My bum wrist and hand didn't want to cooperate but I did it anyway. Now I need to go take a percocet to stop the throbbing in my hand. I sure hope physical therapy works out the kinds because if this is as good as it gets, a see major surgery in my future.

Maybe I'll go stamp, I only really need my right hand for that.

I am sorry to hear about all you East Coasters weather. Here in CA, things are good. I "braved" the 38-degree weather this morning to go out and run, and I was able to move up to a faster running group in my running club this morning, yay me! I have finished four cards for Winterfest, and I think I will give one away, but am going to think about Etsy, so the other three might be candidates for it, I don't know.

Thanks for the early birthday wishes! We should have a thing here that tells peoples birthdays so we can wish them well
We saw 'Parker' It was pretty good, we like Jason Statham.
Sorry about your hand beady. Hope it's better soon! And good for you Ellen! I can't even get up the urge to walk with all the snow!
Had a busy weekend, so will probably work on some challenges tomorrow.
Ended up going out for Sushi for the hubs birthday dinner. It was so yummy! I love the crab salad, I need the recipe!
We lucked out with the weather. It was 40 and rainy, and no ice as predicted. Snow later tonight they say but they haven't been right much lately!

It was pretty nice here today. Has rained some tonight and it seems it will rain a lot tonight and tomorrow. We had grilled hamburgers I grilled yesterday. I did some pre-work on a few challenges and will be finishing them later at my stamping weekend. All the challenges sound great and I am having fun doing some techniques that I haven't done in a long time!

I've been pretty good about riding the spin bike here, the last few weeks, only for 20 to 30 minutes at a time but trying to do it almost everyday. On Friday though, after helping to shovel out the driveway, and then push someone's car that got stuck (several times) I decided I'd done my physical penance for the day and skipped the bike.

Tuesday ( Mardi Gras) has always been 'Pancake Tuesday' in our house so I'll probably get away with an easy supper that day. I'll add sausages or ham to make it more dinner like but won't bother with much else. According to my mom the tradition of having pancakes on that Tuesday started when Lent used to be seriously observed and they went without butter for the whole of it so, on the Tuesday before lent started, they made pancakes and used up all the butter in the house.

Kathy, I'm glad to hear that the cast is off and you are using your hand again but sorry it is so painful. Hope it gets better over timer and with therapy, I wouldn't wish more surgery on you.

We got about six inches of snow yesterday and wind. I had very little time this weekend to craft and tomorrow is back to the grind. I got one card done and posted. How do we get a badge?

I worked on a couple of "masking" challenges but, they are so similar I got a little confused. Now, that I've read through them again, I'll have to start over - next weekend.

It's a warm and rainy day here. Getting ready to go to lunch with 2 friends! My son went to New Orleans Thursday night with friends. They arrived about 3AM Friday! I called him yesterday after hearing about the shooting on Bourbon Street. He said they were about 2 blocks away when it happened! He comes back today. I hope they get back safely!

May do some more pre work on WF challenges later today. Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning Happy Stampers!

We got very little icy rain, but mom was still concerned about driving to dr. this morning. No prob. I called his office & rescheduled. Mom's making her egg noodles for her supper. I'll probably have another dose of the meatpie. Very yummy.

Weatherwise the rest of this work looks pretty good. Chance of some snow next weekend, but it's too early to tell.

Pottle. I hearya about the plethora of stencil/masking challenges. 'Sok. Kind of fun to have 'em, but, yeah, can be hard to keep track of which 'needs' what. Here's how I'm keeping them straight:

Mostly Masking (mine) is masking--no stencil required.
Iring's requires a mortise mask & stencil.
Anne's requires a stencil.

All 3 require image-stamping.

Hoping to work on some things today, but finding that most challenges--including mine--are pretty labor-intensive. Far fewer that can be tackled in just an hour or two--to my mind. 'Sok! Still fun!

Best get on with the day! Have a good'un!

Just got back from therapy where I managed to touch all four fingers to my thumb. It doesn't sound like much, but four weeks ago I couldn't even touch my thumb with my index finger.

Think I'll spend the afternoon stamping. I want to get a card done for a group submission, I'm in three different tag swaps, need to get a February sketch swap done and I'd like to get a few challenge cards done. Good thing I cut back because of my wrist.

Hi everyone!

I see lots of fun challenges for Winterfest got underway while I was out of town for the weekend. Going to try to get a "game plan" for all the challenges tonight for the rest of the week. They look fun! So glad Anne put together a cheat sheet!!

LeighAnn, I like you new user photo---I didn't "recognize" you!
WTG Beady with the physical therapy!!
Daniel I made donuts once and they were so yummy but they took forever to make and I managed to make my eyes sting/water (later I read that that meant I had the oil to hot and it was getting in the air).
I hope your son gets home safely April.
Heidi, I cannot believe it's almost Valentine's day and I totally forgot about Mardi Gras---though we never really do anything. I always wanted to do like in high school where we bake the little plastic baby in the cake and the person whose piece has the baby, does the next party (or in this case, bakes the cake for the class next). But Gardencat, your pancakes sound like the next best thing for me!!
Happy Birthday Kathy's husband!!
WTG Ellen on moving up in the running group!
Sagebrush, maybe you'll get to plan throughout the week since you had one go at already!
Nice to see you Gail! and yes, I do agree----you need to get on here more often!

Well I am of to read Anne's cheat sheet and the other threads----got lots to read! ---- and play!

Yay beady! Glad your feeling a bit better. Weather here is getting warmer. Problem is the snow is melting and then icing up when it gets cold at night. I have ice on my driveway and the shovel won't get it! Poor me, I've had to shovel 3 or 4 times in the last few weeks, hehehe.

So... I have to spend all day tomorrow at the hospital, my oldest is having cataracts surgery. So I will be doing the same next week. I'm wishing I could figure out how to take some card making/challenge stuff with me! But I'm thinking it would be too messy and I would need too much room, LOL. Anyone have a travel kit?

eager, I sent you a pm. Posted your tag as I couldn't figure out how to send you the pics so you could do it with instructions, etc. I mailed yours yesterday.

Made chicken enchilada's for dinner. Boy were they yummy!

Good morning! Today seems a bit warmer than it has been and I have been noticing some of my spring flowers are starting to come up. But there is a bit of wind, so it still felt cold to me.

Happy Mardi Gras! I may pick up some doughnuts today for tonight's snack, otherwise, we never do anything. They have the kings cakes with the plastic baby at the store. I do that tradition (but not a baby, a bean instead) for Epiphany. I wonder how those two holidays got the same tradition...

Valentine's preparations are almost done for the school parties and I sent all the ones to nieces and nephews.

I have a couple phone calls and housework items to check off before I start crafting.

Kathy, I hope your child's cataract surgery goes well.

Kathy (beady) How did crafting go yesterday with your wrist?

Melissa, I hope you had a nice weekend away!

Have a great Tuesday!

Tried to post earlier, but it went glitchy. Getting ready to go offline for the remainder of today so thot I'd try one more time.

Food. Mom enjoyed her chicken & noodles yesterday. She filled 6 '2 portion' freezer containers with most of her leftoves--all hers! She wanted fish stix for today's supper--along with tomatoes on bread. Done.

Domestic. Did laundry. Did banking. Groceries tomorrow.

Weather. Dry & overcast. Bit of a breeze--outside.

Craft. Worked on a bit.

WF13. Doing what I do--fed up with the site problems.

My pals here?

Seeya 'later'.

Hi everyone!

I'm finding it really hard to get motivated to do anything this 'fest', even though the challenges are great and lots of things I've always wanted to try. I'm soooo exhausted every night, and am enjoying just looking at other people's projects and commenting on them!

I WILL produce, though. I should be able to finish Daniel's masking challenge tonight - I just have to matt it. And 'Make a Scene' and 'Smooch' are in the pipeline.

Fortunately I have a crafty get-together with friends on Saturday afternoon, so should be able to do quite a bit, then.

Off to have a nap, now...no, only kidding - off to finish my masking project!

Morning All!

Sunny this morning with a chance of a bit of rain/snow later. Nothing big tho'.

Gonna go for groceries later this morning--no rush. Mom suggested corn fritters for supper today. Sounds good. Might get some sausage to go with.

Christin. I hearya! My 'making mojo' for WF is very sporadic, despite good challenges. And it's not just due to all the tech probs. But I'm still enjoying the party.

Melissa got my March tag & she likes it. Glad of that. I like it, too--mostly.

Not much going on here, but that's ok. Have to find something for Mom's valentine gift. Candy is always a good bet--she has a real sweet tooth.

Might stop back for more chat later. 'Til then, y'all have a great today!

Good morning!

Last night we were working on filling out Valentines, painting Pinewood Derby car, and I had my fitness class. We had french toast for dinner to use up eggs and bread. Who knows why I buy so many eggs sometimes. I guess I must forget I already have them. So I have hard boiled eggs for lunch, probably will make them into egg salad.

We also expect some snow overnight, but the forecast is int he 40's tomorrow so I guess it won't stick around.

I need to put away laundry, then I think I will start the masking challenge. I failed a few times yesterday on the inky layers, so I will revisit it later. I have an idea for the Make A Scene and Little Known Consequences.

I hope everyone has a nice day!

Happy Hump Day!

Ugh, I've been without internet for 2 days. What did we ever do without it?!?! Other than the fact that we were all probably more productive! So now it's fixed and I notice the sites still giving me error messages and is super slow. I've mostly been having gallery issues, trying to check out everyone's entries. I may try a little later.

You would think I would have been more productive but my little guy has been a handful lately and refusing his naps. No naps= no inky time for me! I'm hoping to get some time in this week to finish up some of the challenges that I've started. I have a few challneges completed but haven't had the chance to upload them yet.

It's pretty cold and rainy here today. I was thinking about making turkey sliders, sweet potato fries and salad for dinner.Still not sure yet.

Melissa, glad you had a good weekend away!

Daniel and Christinmay, I feel the same way. My crafting time is late at night lately, by then I'm too tired to craft! I started on a couple last night and messed up royally! I also dumped an entire bottle of embossing powder. After all that, I tossed it all and went to bed!

Heidi, eggsalad sounds really good! I need to make that sometime. I seem to always have an abundance of eggs! I'm always afraid of running out and not having them when I need them! I do the same with cheese, it drives my husband crazy!

Well, I'm gonna attempt to check out some of the gallery uploads if it will let me, Have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

DS broke my heart today. Literally. The one I made for the Golden Oldies challenge.

Today I will go in to help with the Valentine party. It snowed last night but not much and it feels warmer than usual this morning.

Have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day to y'all! Sorry 'bout your heart, Heidi.

We had just a dusting of white last nite, but must have been a bit of liquid precip 'cause the walk feels crunchy. 'Sok. It's calling for mid 40s today so it should melt nicely.

Made out well @ the grocery store yesterday--lots of BOGOs. Got mom a bouquet of cut flowers. Still have to arrange them. I got a mixed bunch & the daisy mums are hot pink. Made corn fritters & (Polish) sausage for supper. Not bad, but we both burped the sausage. Very oniony. Not sure I'd get it again & might use the remaning links for pizza or pasta sauce rather than a meat as such.

Not planning on doing much crafting today. Have to see what catches my muse. I'm definitely enjoying many of the sntries for the various challenges--lots of inspiration.

Hope y'all have a terrific day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Hope everyone's having a great day so far.

We had a nice Valenitnes Day lunch today, I'm still stuffed! I planned on cooking a beef brisket for dinner but may hold off until tomorrow.

I've been busy with day to day stuff and while my internet is up and running its still going super slow. Especially when I try and view gallery posts.

Ive almost finsihed one challenge but got stuck on another.
I think I may be overthinking this one!

Christinmay, I did post a couple of times from my phone, I just went back to look and neither posts are on the threads I posted. How aggravating!

I'm checking out to go to some laundry and some stuff for work. Have a good afternoon!

Maybe the delayed post thing explains why I have done something on a chatty game thread, and then gone back and seen that I did the same one that someone else already did! I was SURE those posts weren't there before! hmmmm.

Good morning! It is bright and sunny today. There is no school for the holiday. We are using up the pack of polymer clay, they are in the oven now.

I have several challenges in the works. I hope to finish them up soon and get them posted.

Busy weekend ahead with Pinewood Derby, Indoor Soccer and swimming. Then trying to finish the challenges.

Not sure what we will eat tonight. Maybe leftover pasta, or maybe something new.

Hello everyone!!

Such a chatty thread! I had fun reading what everyone is up to. I have not yet had time to do a single challenge.

This was a pretty hectic week, I had two tutorials to do, in addition to some other projects, and a monster & spider party to plan. Since Anton was born during Winterfest, his birthday party always end up being around this time. I've made a fun pop-up card and a whole bunch of decor items, and 32 stamped invitation cards...

Have a lovely weekend all of you!

Good Afternoon!

Made a trip to Mom's fave bakery earlier. 'Dalo's' is just over a century old & is a 'full line' bakery--great breads & rolls, cookies, cakes, donuts, pastry & pizza (Sicilian). We got 6 donuts, 2 danish & a half sheet of pizza with sausage. Their sausage topping is 'Good Oh'!--spicy enough for me, but not too 'hot' for mom. So we're in good shape for eats today. I might get a steak or meatball hoagie later to have with the pizza. Hey! I'm a growing boy & I don't see any virtue in being a 'starving artist'.

Despite the glitches, WF13 is doing ok. Nice traffic on the forum. I was very pleased that Lickeyan posted a 'help wanted' on my challenge. Plus she uploaded a visual to her gallery so I (& possibly others) could help. Best part for me is that answering her let me add more to the masking thread.

I'm definitely doing more bookmarked threads so I can access them down the road! Even with tech glitches, 2Ps does a great job of providing ways to make things friendly here!

Since I've done my thread 'maintainence', I can play with stamping for a bit.

Shout Outs...

Heidi. How was the school party? Any pix you can share?

Pug/Christin. Although I am 'cell-less', I use my phone line to connect (dial up modem). Glad to know that despite the 'app bugs' you guys still hang in!

Anna-Karin. Bet Anton's going to have a 'monster ball' for his B-Day party!

I just posted my last challenge entry for this fest, I have a couple of other things I started, but won't get finished this week, because I've just got to find the bottom of the kitchen sink under the pots and pans and be able to walk by the litter boxes without holding my nose.

I was not all that excited going in this year but once I got started really enjoyed all the challenges I did, even the ones that had me tearing my hair out!

I'll still make time to check in and see what others are doing and file some stolen ( or shared) good ideas away for future use.

Monday here is a holiday (Family Day) so most stores will be closed and everyone will be home, expecting food to appear, so I'd better plan ahead to avoid a house full of grumpy people.

ROTFL, GC! Nothing says 'family holiday' like being cooped up with them & no place to shop or get takeout food!

So pleased you had fun @ WF & will continue to check in. Like you, I wasn't dead keen on 'doing' WF, but it's been 'fun'

I'm with Anna-Karin, I haven't had the time to do any challenges yet. If I'm not at therapy, I'm home doing the gazillion exercises I've been given for homework plus I'm supposed to massage my hand every three hours to cut down on the edema. Hopefully I can get to a challenge this afternoon right after I attempt the wash the kitchen floor.

Daniel, you had to mention donuts. Now I'm going to have to hoof down to Dunkin Donuts and get one. The pizza sounds good, but I'll have to have it without the sausage since it's a Friday in Lent. I've got enough problems without having a lightning bolt hurled down at me.

This is the most typing I've done in a long time, but the doctor said the keyboard is the best for exercising fingers, hand and wrist. After the first stabbing pains in my wrist it doesn't even hurt too bad.

I'm off to go accomplish something.

Kathy, surely your kitchen floor doesn't need to be cleaned that badly!? I hope not. At least typing is something you are supposed to do! Hang in there!

I have been wanting to try one of those Dunkin Donuts Brownie batter doughnuts!

Daniel. No photos from the party. The teacher took some while the moms did all the work. Lol. Some of the kids turned their fish into a pig or cat. That was very creative. I'll try to take a photo of my example to share.

Anna-Karin, I hope the party goes fantastic!

I am trying to remember to breath. I have mentioned on a couple of threads that I am struggling with challenges. I feel like I am losing my mind and ready to pull hair out - but I have a good reason. I am doing these challenges under the influence of Peracet for pain and my 3rd round of antibiotics. Twp weeks ago, I went to the dentist about a painful and swollen gum - he diagnosed an infection. After seeing a specialist I had the tooth extracted because of a cracked tooth, massive infection and massive bone loss. Have been to the dentist twice more for pain management with less than seller results. Have had 3 rounds of different antibiotics. Tried managing pain with Advil because dh was out of town and I still had dgs quite a bit. Tried Peracet off and on when I wasn't planning on driving or having dgs that day. Needless to say the Peracet affects my thinking. Looking at maybe having socket cleaned out and new bone graft put back in. All of this on two of being two weeks out of scope on right knee.

This is why I am now half witted and everything is taking so much longer to understand and to do projects. I will be better soon or I will stamp flowers all over my dentist in indelible ink.

I am breathing and breathing. Thanks for reading

Ann, I'm sorry you have been in so much pain. I know that those pain pills do affect your thinking. I think it is great that you are still playing with the challenges. I think the number one thing is to have fun with them, so don't stress out too much.

LOL, Lickey! 'Least you have an excuse for being a 'half wit' (bless you)

Me? I've always been nutty. And driving people crazy is my favorite hobby--'specially with crafting.

LOL on the donuts, Beady! Ours were tasty. Still have a few left along with the Danish & some pizza (also yummy).

Had a brief spate of (mostly) rain last night. We talked about going for breakfast this morning, but decided to pass. Not arctic today, but definitely in for colder & windy later today & tomorrow. No plans to venture out today.

Not sure what I'm in the mood to do craftwise today. I have a few 'started' pieces that I might play with. Nice to see several StamPeas are having 'growing pains' with 'mostly masking'! Such fun!

Pretty sure--positive actually--I won't finish any WF13 projects by end-of-party, but 'sok. No reflection on the challenges, of course. And looks like I'm not alone--as usual.

With March not all that far away, I might start thinking more about the next 'Send You' swap while I play with WF13. Not exactly multi-tasking; just bringing it back to a creative simmer.

Hope everyone has a terrific today! Seeya later.

I gave up taking Percocet because it makes me light headed and nauseous. I'd rather deal with the pain.

Yes Heidi, my kitchen floor was that dirty. It hadn't been washed since before I broke my wrist and my husband's idea of cleaning it was swiping a dry paper towel over whatever he spilled or if the cat puked. I have the type of floor you damp mop but since I couldn't wring out the mop I sloppy mopped the floor. It's clean now anyway even though it took forever to dry.

As for those brownie batter Dunkin Donuts, yum yum. I did hoof down the street and get one yesterday and truly enjoyed all the fudgie goodness that oozed out of that donut.

Howdy everyone!

I've been having so much fun checking out all of the festivities on the board. Today I got 2 more challenges done and uploaded and a few more are in the works of being finished.

It's cold and windy here today. I've got a roast in the crockpot for dinner. I really REALLY need to do some housework but am having too much fun working on challenges and checking out everyones creations.

Ann, bless your heart! Percocet is really strong and hard to take. It sounds like maybe you have a dry socket or maybe the bone graft didnt take(I used to work in the dental office). I hope they get you fixed up soon so you can feel better!

Beady, that's how my husband cleans the floors too!. That donut sounds delicious, btw.

Daniel, I'm curious for what you've got in store for the next send you!

I'm going to check out a few more threads and do some housework before I work on anymore challenges. My desk that I craft at is a disaster. If I wasnt so embarrased I would show you all a pic of it. I currently have a tiny 5 inches of space that I'm working on. I make such a mess while crafting.

If you don't hear from me in the next 24 hours send help, I may be trapped under a sea of paper, inks and stamps!

Happy Sunday!

Currently enjoying sunshine, but it's not predicted to last. 'Least they aren't calling for any precip today--not 'til Tues.

Not much going on today. Gotta make dinner, but keeping it pretty simple--pan broiled steaks, browned taters & butter beans. Have to put out our recycle for Mon. pickup & might do some laundry.

No plans to do last-minute on any WF13 challenge & doubt I'll do much for Hangover, but I have enjoyed our party.

I have an idea for the next 'Send You' Swap/challenge. It satisfies my need to stetch myself, but (I think) it's fairly non-daunting for any of us to do. Might start the 'official' thread & blog next week so we're ready to go by March.

I see Pug is planning to start her 'April Tag' thread next week, too. Good. Depending on what she comes up with, I don't plan to work as fast as I did on my March tag. 'Course I can always change my mind.

Tomorrow is 'Presidents Day'--no mail & closed banks. We're thinking of doing a grocery run tomorrow.

Hope y'all have a terrific today. I'll probably be back later.

Good morning. It feels really chilly in the house this morning. The littlest DS has a cold and slept terribly last night and therefore so did I. He recently fell asleep on the floor in the middle of our main room.

Yesterday the Pinewood Derby and new Soccer season went really well. Both were super fun events.

The story of the day is GALLERY TROUBLES!

I have totally put off housework this week. For me, it is the laundry. It is mostly washed, but not put away. Piles and piles of laundry everywhere!

Kathy, I must be lucky, DH is a very good mopper. Far better than me, actually.

Tonight is the finale of Downton. I am looking forward to it.

Sorry the little one is under-the-weather, Heidi.

And it ain't just Gallery probs... I get 'service error' when I attempt access by clicking on our Pea names under our avatar.

Gotta go make dinner. Later, gators!

I am going to have to do the challenges just for fu later, can't do any more today - am to call dentist at 1:15, after he gets out of church to see him in the office to have the tooth socket cleaned out and the bone graft done again. This time he will rough up the socket more so that it will bleed more to feed the bone graft. He will also be cleaning out rest of infection. I really want this infection cleaned up, before it spreads elsewhere.

Did I say that I hate going to the dentist. Looking forward to playing more after today and maybe tomorrow

Smart move, Ann! Definitely keep any infection from spreading.

Made mom dinner. She had trouble chewing the steak, but enjoyed the taters & butter beans. She asked for tomato juice, too. She had some veggies today.

Saw Heidi's thread about '3 Ways'. Already thinking about what I'd make & what stamp I'd choose. Fun!

Also closer to figuring out 'Send You #3'. Definitely 'me' & tons of room for 'you-ers' Wanna do a bit of net-surfing on the idea & see what I can find to support my blog.

Anne , so sorry to hear about all the trouble and pain caused by your dental problems. I hope the work today starts you on the road to recovery.

Heidi, isn't that the way with kids? Their illness keeps you up all night but then they can fall asleep during the day and you have to keep going. I hope he (and you) feel better soon.

I'm a victim of gallery problems too. Even though I hadn't intended to do any more challenges I just couldn't let Prospurring's stencil challenge alone. Funny, I know I'm not going to get too all the challenges and I'm okay with that but, once I start in on one I hate to not at least produce something for it. So. today I started on my third attempt to get something that I didn't hate and finally I made a card, with a stencilled background, that I think doesn't stink.

But now the gallery won't take my upload..oh well the main thing is my own satisfaction that I got it done.

I'm off now back to KP duty. Have a great Sunday , or at least as good a Sunday as you can all manage.

So sorry, Ann, to hear about your dental problems. Not fun at all. My hubby has been dealing with 5 root canals and crowns for 4 months and still has one more to go!

Having a great time this weekend with my stamping pals on a stamp retreat. You ought to see our work areas -- none of us can find anything! LOL! Yesterday we had a beautiful hour or so of heavy snow falling! We rarely ever see it! What a surprise! It got really cold, but it didn't stick to roads and we are very thankful! You don't want to see southerners trying to drive on icy and snowy streets! YIKES!

Well, gotta run and make some more Christmas cards for the Christmas All Year challenge!

I have vented already in a separate post about NOT being able to upload my cards for the challenges! Hope we can have an extra day or two to get them up if we can't get them up today!

Hi everyone!

Sorry about your dental problems Ann. I hope it gets better soon.

Just a quick note to say that I've extended my challenge to 18 Feb, and I'll do it again tomorrow if people still can't load to the gallery. I can't comment or open any of the cards posted to my challenge.

Long day of cleaning, baking a cake that got a bit burned, stamping monsters on treat bags, and trying to finish a canvas that became a much bigger project than planned. Got to go to bed now!
