I want a realistic gold ink pad, but there are so many name brands, Brilliance, colorbox, stazon, craftmate, etc...any suggestions as to which is best? I apologize if this has been asked, I ran a search for the past month and didn't find anything.

Have you considered gold embossing powder?

I have tried many gold ink pads including Stazon, Brillance etc. But by far my new all time favorite gold ink is Delecata by Tsukineko. It is a pigment ink that dries in a couple minutes on porous paper. It provides a rich and glitsy look. It is fabulous on fine lines where many of the other inks add a thicker look. Happy inking!

Thanks FarNorth, I'll buy that one!
Heidi I bought embossing powder too, but sometimes I'd like the ease of just stamping ans calling it done.

I have seen the delecata ink used in videos with high praise from the users. I will consider it if I decide I need a new gold. I have the brilliance gold right now and rarely use it.

I just bought the Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz that Jan mentioned and I love it too! It is glitzy, and needs no embossing. Quick and easy!
