I've added the list of partners below. Since we've been having issues with postings(mostly with iphone/ipad users) if you signed up to the swap but don't see your name below just PM me so I can add you to the swap.
Just a reminder: this month's reguirements:
Tag must be a rectangular hanging tag.
Tag must have some image stamping on it.
This month's theme: Trees.
Other requirement is to include a quote. This can be from you, from a poem, author, book, etc. It's up to you! It can be handwritten, stamped, typed out, stickers, whatever you like.
Please don't forget to upload your tag when you know your partner has it. I also created a challenge blog so you can link your tag there as well.

Thanks so much for organizing once again. I think that the theme of trees is a fun one, especially since there are so many nature inspired quotes. Sounds like a fun one!

Ho wis everyone handling quotes?---what I mean is---is everyone going to print from the computer the quote then design with it or around it---kinda like how Marshia does on some of her cards?

Pug has given us total freedom to do (even make up our own) quotes & encoporate them in the project as we wish.

I actually have a single quote stamp that I have been wondering how to use for a while now. Basically I probably will build my tag around that quote - while making sure to do the remaining requirements. |

I have started on my tag, but tried a new technique. After it was done and I liked it, I realized I should have done the stamping first! LOL. Guess I will start again!

LOL, Tonya! You do 'dumb' questions beautifully!
Here's what I 'see' in Pug's requirements for the April tag...
The tag's theme is trees--not necessarily ones that grow in nature. For instance 'shoe' trees.
The 'quote' can be your own or sourced elsewhere. And I don't see where Pug is requiring that the quote be tree-related.
As with all the previous monthly themes, LeighAnn is allowing--even encouraging--the swappers to be as creative as they wish when they create their tags. 'Course I could be barking up the wrong tree... Hmmm. Anyone thinking of doing a dogwood tree?

With my 'SY' medal finished, I'm ready to tackle my tree tag. I've already pulled a few (possible) stamps, but still have to decide on materials & style.
Think I'll do a few thumbnail sketches & see where that takes me. At this point I'm torn between doing 'funny' or 'elegant'. OOOH! While typing this, I just recalled a line from a song (hint: Joni Mitchel). I think I have my inspiration! FUN! |

OY! My brain hurts! I've made lots of progress on my 'trees' tag today & need to take a breather so I can take stock of 'where I'm at' & 'where I want to go'.
It's another of the labor-intensive projects I love to do. Really enjoying the April challenge (He said as his brain turned into mush! ).
LOL on the 'MAY tag' start-up, Pug! Still hoping it's gonna be 'appliances'--maybe 'Steampunk' ones. But whatever you come up with is sure to be fun!
Figure I still have a few more days worth of work on the current one before it's ready to mail. |

Just about ready to tackle a bit more on my tag, too.
Kathy. I hearya. Can't recall the last time I didn't need to set the 'finished' project aside for a chance to check myself before submitting. Sometimes it does help. Other times it's a PITA--not always a matter of 'perfect', just the nagging feeling that the project needs something.
LOL, Christin! Tricky stuff can always help me procrastinate, too!

My tag arrive from Far North in the far north. Sorry couldn't help myself. Jan I love your tag from the coloring to the super cool tree stamp. When you post it in the gallery, please include what company that tree stamp is from. I gotta have it. Thanks for the tree die cuts and the waffle paper and glossy black card stock the tag was sandwiched between and thanks for your beautiful tag. |

I finally was able to post my tag after a couple days of technical difficulties. Here is my gallery post for my April tag.
Beady so glad it got to you safely and you are enjoying it! So sorry but the tree stamp I bought as the company was going out of business. So far I can't remember the name of it but will let you know when the light bulb goes off!

I am working on my tag today. I have the focal image done and my quote picked out. I am working on the design of the tag. I am using a larger tag than I usually do because my image is larger and since most of my swap mates have used larger tags and I wanted to try it.
It is a bit of a challenge though. |
