Here's the list of swappers for this month.

Reminder of tag requiremnts:
Must have some image stamping on it.
Needs to be a rectangular hanging tag.
Theme is stars and stripes. You can do one or both if you'd like. Also you don't have to do red, white and blue if you don't want to.
Must have stenciling on the project.
Have fun with it.

Note, I did extend the deadline to July 10th to get them to your partner. I know June can be a busy month for everyone.

Everyone check in here and let us know how your tags coming on. Half the fun is chatting about what we're doing! Also, any questions about stenciling just post them here. As I said in the sign up thread, no need to buy one they can be pretty easy to make.

I will create a challenge blog to link these to a little later today.

Here's the list:
StampingCrazy and Looser
HowdyHeidi and SWEETly made
Carribeangirl and Beady
eagertoretire and YellowCherrios
lovepug2 and SWLady
lovepug2 and tyuill1976

I think I got everyone and I have to say its getting harder matching everyone up with new partners so if you have someone you've already had before I'm very sorry!

Just sent my swapmate (Angela) a pm, Pug.

I also hope all the swappers will make it a point to post to this thread at least once a week. Not only is it fun, but it helps us know that you're still 'with us'.

I have to say that the huge amount of 'wiggle room' for this month's tag is driving me crazy--ok crazier. I love it! I think I'm getting closer to the route mine will take. As Eager (Marshia) says, I'm quirky & revel in it!

LOL, Angela! I hope you're quirky, too. But I'm gonna love whatever you do. I promise!

Whoops I forgot to PM my partners! I will touch add with you two when I get on my computer later today!

I've got some fun ideas, I just need to narrow down my stenciling first.

LOL, Heidi! Gonna start calling you 'speedy'.

Yeah! It's a PITA when the site glitches us! That said? I'm so pleased to see swappers posting on the swap thread to keep us all in the 'know'!

I'm still doing components & assembling a 'cast of several' to work with. I'm already seeing some potential 'stars', as well as items that will be told "thanks, but no thanks".

its going very well. Yesterday I decided I needed to cut alot out for now. I will eventually get all her pictures down from her 18 years so far of life but I dont need it done by Saturday lol. After accomplishing that, I dont have but a few pages left to do.

I am imagining things in my head for my tag, funny you said you are seeing stars Daniel because thats what I am seeing in my head. Hopefully I can get this mental image down on the tag.

I PM'd YellowCherrios for an address swap. Hopefully the message made the trip. Between my failing computer and problems with the site one can never be sure.

I've got my addresses for my swap partners. I haven't started on my tags yet!

There are oodles of fun challenges for WSW13 that would be fun for your tags! Check 'em all out and if you have time play along

Glad to see you, Tonya.

I've put my July tag aside for now. Might get a bit more done this week, but with the party & other stuff, I'm not pushing it.

That said, I am picking up some ideas from the various party challenges.

Heidi, I did get your tag on Friday. I love it! I really like the rustic look! My aunt's kitchen is a rustic theme with chickens and roosters...she's going to be super jealous of this tag! Thank you so much! I plan to work on my tag this week.

Love Heidi's tag!

ROFL, Heidi! I thot I might have, but wasn't sure. He looks happy living with you!

No biggie, Pug. It's been a little hectic for most of us.

Guess who's really surprised?.....

....ME! I finished my July tag! I didn't have lots 'started' for it, but once I got back to it today it just worked. And everything from the fussy cutting to the stenciling just rolled along. And we all know how infrequent that is when we're working on some pieces.

Gonna ship to Angela tomorrow.

Next on my agenda? The MEDAL!

Terrific to see so many of us 'checking in'. LOL, Beady! Would I rag/nag? You betcha!

Angela. I hearya. I've done the same thing many times. This time mine 'held up'. I want to get it in the mail, but think I 'need' to add a note with it for a good reason. That said, I'm not including instructions on construction--It would be a volume (even tho' the actual techniques & such were relatively 'quick/easy').

Hmmm. Writing our 'upload comments' might make a worthwhile discussion thread...

I decided not to "sit" on it and just let the postman have it lol. But I feel a little bad right now because I just sealed the envelope and didnt even include a note in it. Bad swap partner!

LOL, Beady! Good for you! Probably didn't clear you table off a lot, tho'.

Haven't gotten a respnse from your swapmate? No prob. Send her another PM &... Check to see who her previous swapmate(s) have been. PM them & request a shipping addy.

But your situation raises a good point. For any number of reasons, we may have difficulty connecting.

If Pug is agreeable, I have a suggestion... I suggest that when we sign-on to be part of this swap we provide our host with a shipping address via PM. That way we have a way of sending our tags out if our swapmate has developed problems between 'sign-up' & 'send'. This could avoid lots of problems--i believe.

I don't think this is necessary. Plus, it would give swappers control over their address, which is a good thing when dealing on the internet too. Plus it is less work for the organizer. My two cents.

Thanx for the feedback, Heidi & Christin on my suggestion about providing a swap host with a shipping address (via pm) when signing up for a swap.

Long as my swapmate connects with me, I don't have a problem either way. And I agree that we should not put private info like email & street addresses on a public forum. I've seen some people do this & I cringe.

So much for that. I have my July tag back out for pick up. Postman ignored it on Sat. Grrr.

Wonderful tag, Angela!

I am so sorry you guys! I completely forgot about doing a blog when I originally posted this thread. I fixed that this morning and its uploaded now I can't believe I forgot about it!

As far as sending me your address when you sign up, I'm fine with that if you would like to Peamail it to me so that way it's private and not out for everyone to see. I have most everyone that has been doing the swap since January's address so if any of you have problems getting your partner's address, send me a PM, I may have it!

I've been out of town the past few days so I'm planning on getting my tags out by Thursday, I worked on them some last week but not sure I like where they're going. I may start over
