Dates: Thurs., 10/10 through Mon. 10/21/2013

I love Stamptoberfest! My first experience at TwoPeas was during a Stamptoberfest and I got so inspired and had so much fun and met so many terrific Stamping Peas! I love coming back year after year to catch up with friends and share what's new.

So, this year, I thought I would incorporate the idea of catching up into my challenge by sharing some of the projects I'm working on. This is an amazing time for me, as I am learning to spread my OWN wings and fly and chasing after my dreams.

First, I'd like to share a 6-1/2 minute video about my journey to become a more polished, professional, intentional coach (as in life coaching, rather than sports): http://bit.ly/1eaPWdx

Next I'd like to share a 4-1/2 minute video about the community I'm building for creatives who are spiritual but not religious: http://creativespiritu.com/

Needless to say, these are both big, long-term projects that are works-in-progress, but I am loving it! I am especially in love with my coaching clients! They are amazing! I love that they come ready to make changes and DO stuff. They're like: "BRING IT!" It's so fun to be a part of their journeys!

The Challenge:
  • Create a NEW project of your choice (card, scrapbook layout, art journal page, artist trading card, canvas, etc.)
  • Using AT LEAST one stamp and
  • The overall theme should be one or more of the following: {a} something with wings, {b} something that flies, or {c} about how you are spreading your wings, or {d} how someone you love is spreading their wings!

Other Details:
  • Check the SOF13 Spread Your Wings and Fly challenge checkbox when you upload your project and link to it from THIS Discussion Thread. Please also describe your project either in the description when you upload it or in THIS Discussion Thread.
  • Please be generous in your PeaPraise to others during SOF13.
  • The challenge will run through the end of the day on Monday, October 21st (however TwoPeas decides that).
  • I will select ONE random winner sometime during the week of Mon. Oct. 21st through Fri., Oct. 25th to receive an as-yet-to-be-determined RAK from me.
  • You MAY combine this challenge with others, as long as the overall theme fits the challenge.
  • You MAY enter as many times as you like!

Have fun!

I can't wait to see what you create and I look forward to catching up with Stamping Pea friends and meeting new Stamping Peas, too!

A great challenge! I love bird stamps and look for any opportunity to use them. I've actually made a couple of cards recently that fit the theme perfectly, but I look forward to making another.

I like it, I hope I have time to join this one. Work comes first and then fun. Why can't it be the other way around?

Here is my 'Spread your wings and fly' card .

I took the title of the challenge to heart and thought it would make a great sentiment (which I had to CG).

I've been looking for a way to use this stamp, Anne - thanks!!

Oh, and I just remembered that you gave me the cage die-cut! That's cool! Thanks again.

My card for SOF13 Spread Your Wings and Fly Challenge. The theme fits perfectly with breast cancer awareness month as I used the Stampin' UP! set titled Strength and Courage and the butterfly is part of the set. I used the starburst (or some call it Sunburst) background layout and it was such fun to paperpiece the starburst in pinks and browns Making Memories background paper.
Thanks for the opportunity to play along in the challenges. Wonderful ideas! [error_in_list] MY CARD

Anne Thanks for hosting a 'winged' challenge. I have to admit that my card was created for Cindi's How do you feel? challenge but it fits here too. Butterflies and dragonflies are my favorite winged creatures so I was happy to have this opportunity use one. I'm still hoping to squeak another one in before the challenge ends. Thanks again!

Here is my butterfly journey card. This really got me thinking about my weight loss journey and I plan to incorporate this card into my weight loss art journal. Thanks for the inspirational challenge. I stamped 2 butterflies, colored them in using colored pencils. The purple and gray colors remind me that I am on a journey and when life seems gray--focus on the color. Journey Butterfly Card

Thanks,
Neysa

Woohoo! thank you Anne.Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Sometime yesterday my linksys system got fried meaning no internet access at home right now. I'm writing this from my friendly neighborhood Starbucks.

I just want to add that I really had a lot of fun doing this project. It was one of those times when the project just kind of took on a life of it's own and told me what it wanted and I just had to figure out how to do it.

Thanks for hosting.

Anne, here's a card I combined with Christin's challenge for Hangover Week. I don't have a recipient in mind, but I think this will be a good one to have in my stash! Check out the We R Memory Keepers papers I used, they had the right sentiments in chalkboard style all ready for me!
