For myself? I want to continue making myself happy by tackling as many crafty things as possible & not being concerned with doing 'perfect' projects.

For (some) StamPea friends? Hoping they will realize how talented they are in so many ways & not worry (as much) about doing things 'right'.

For myself, I want to continue growing as a crafter and continue to learn new techniques. I also want to continue documenting the lives of my family so my children can enjoy them when they are older.

For others, I hope it is a year of new creativity for you too

For me I hope to learn more techniques and use some old ones that I haven't used in a long time.

For others I hope it will be a wonderful creative year for you.

I have some different ones. I want to work more with polymer clay & resin. I want to concentrate on my drawing more. I want to buy lots more stamps. Yes, buying stamps is a goal. I want a more versatile library.

Happy 2014 stamp peas!

I actually made some resolutions this year and some were crafty related.

My big one is I want to make a card a week. I know this seems silly to most but my life is busy right now and that seems pretty doable.

I also want to explore new techniques and styles. Step out of my comfort zone more.

Use up what I have. I have a slight pattern paper addiction
I too, Lyla plan to add more stamps to my collection I consider that a goal! I also want to complete my distress ink collection.

For my stamp pea pals, I hope you all have lots of creative time to yourself this year and are able to share with us your creations and chat along the way

Great resolutions and wishes.

To echo what LeighAnn said, I definitely have resolved not to buy anything new for a while this year. I recently made a lot of purchases, have lots of patterned paper, stamps needing to see ink and plenty of ink! So unless I need adhesive, I plan to stay away from the craft store for a couple months. I need to use what I have!

I don't have a set number of projects I want to make per week, but I do want to create with less dilly dallying. I think at some point last year, I thought I lost my mojo, but something Jan said to me made me think that I was taking too much time and overthinking.

Hello Peas,

It has been a very long time, I keep wanting to come back on here and get involved again.

This new year I hope to be a more consistent card maker, sending more cards to friends and family. This year was a slow card year for me, and I hope that changes drastically in 2014!

I want to recognize the importance of regular crafting time. It is right brained therapy and so important to give myself permission to do it! (I have felt guilty taking time for myself at times, but no more of that!)

I, too, want to buy less, and use more from my ever-increasing stash! I don't have a lot of room to store stuff, so I need to keep it under control.

Since DH stopped working nights, I gave done far less crafting at night, so I want to get back into that. I also want to try and do more during the day now that my kids are a little bit older and I might be able to get away with it. And I want to get them more into stamping, too!

It's wonderful to see the board so active lately, so I hope that keeps up.

And finally, I want to be more adventurous and try tricky new techniques!

My goal is to use more of my supplies, not just my paper, but stamps, dies, embossing folders, stencils etc. I would like to be able to say I have used every one of those "non-consumables" at least once.

I hope everyone has a creative and productive year, and enjoys all the crafting and creating!

For me: I hope to shop my own stash more and buy less. What is it with patterned paper? I think it multiplies like rabbits! I need to try the one item in, one or two items out rule? Easier said than done! When I do buy, I hope to support my LSS and twopeas, as I want to keep them around. I got ticked off too many times at a local big box last year. Not mentioning any names but it starts with J , bad management.

Oh, and I want to pin and bookmark less and create more!
Oh, and can anyone teach me to be more concise? Why am I always so wordy?

For others: I hope you keep creating and posting so I can pin and bookmark ! Really, because I enjoy your company and the inspiration you provide.

Here's to a happy and creative 2014! Cheers!

iring- I had to laugh about J's and bad management. I did bust out laughing. I am staying out of the big box stores too. My reason is a bit different. I have complete burnout. Nothing in the stores inspires me. I feel like's the same old stuff over and over again. Probably, because it is! Also, I don't live near the craft stores any more. It's a big hassle to get over to them. I save more money buying from here and other online places. I get different unique things that inspire me. I have a really great WalMart in my area that gets high end art supplies in. I found out the online store sends in a certain number of things to my store that the other stores don't get to carry. I am having more fun shopping at WalMart than J's with the bad management, lol. That is one of my goals too. No big box stores for this year.

I don't have a LSS. I definitely hope TwoPeas stays around! I do purchase from them a few times a year. I hope they continue carrying the stamps, inks and such that I am interested in. Not just scrapbook stamps...

Iring, you don't need to be concise! lol

It's also time to do some de-stashing. There are things that I know deep down I'll never use. I've purchased some things that just haven't lived up to my own expectations...so time to re gift them to the universe. Maybe somebody else will like them. I need more space in my little craft closet for the things that really make me happy!
