My challenge is a really simple one and I guess it's more of a sketch type challenge!?!

Your main focus for my challenge should be your stamped image. I came up with this challenge after I had trouble getting a good impression with one of my large background stamps. Rather than, throwing away the stamped image, I just cut the middle out or strips of what stamped well so I could use that on cards.

You don't have to just use large image or background stamps, I included 3 examples of how you could do this challenge.

Please see my blog for details. Any questions, just post them here.
There will be a RAK for this challenge.

Stamping in the Round blog

my card examples.

I hope you'll play along

What a neat challange. Funny. I was already working on a 'round' idea before seeing your challenge, Pug. I think it will fit right in with yours.

Hi, LeighAnn! Thanks for hosting!

I love that your challenge is about taking what some might view as a mistake and making it into something that works. Often I find that these end up being "happy accidents" that end up even better!

Pug, I liked your card so much- mine is not too different. It seemed to work well with what I had.

All the items except and sentiment were from my Feb swap kept kit, so posted it on that blog too.

Is it ok if my circle goes off the card front edge slightly so the whole circle isn't quite there?

Good question, Michele. While this is Pug's call, I'm basing my piece to be 'round'--not necessarily circular.

Fun challenge! I always admire the cards using round images but I don't often use them myself.

I created two cards for this challenge yesterday but couldn't get them uploaded.

This card challenge took me some time and I really had to think about the right stamped image to use. I finally chose a larger flower center. I also added 2 additional circles and offset them to create a flower petal feel. Great challenge. Here is my Flower Petal Card: Flower Petal Card

Anyhoo... Here's my 'round' entry. For more info on what I did? Please use my priviously post & link.

Love your idea about making a lot of belated cards Heidi, I too seem to be always running late. Crazy when everyone knows you make cards and you miss their birthday.

Here is my entry. I think I will probably use it as a birthday card by adding a Happy Birthday somewhere but could also see using it as just a "hello, how are you" card to give someone a laugh. Or even as a St. Patrick's Day card since the sentiment is supposedly an Irish Blessing and the card is quite green.

I'm so tickled at all of you that participated in my challenge. So many inspiring cards! I'm almost positive I left everyone praise, I'm gonna check tonight to make sure my comments took since I had some issues with that earlier last week.

But now it's time to announce a winner!

I put everyone's name in a hat, those that made more than I project, I put your name in twice. And I had my son select a name out of the hat....

And he pulled out.......

CaribbeanGirl!!!

April, I got your address already so be watching the mail! I will get your RAK out tomorrow.

Fabulous projects everyone. Thanks for playing along
