Here are the details from my Challenge Blog. Pretty simple challenge, really, but if you have any questions, let me know!

Saturday, February 8 - Monday, February 17, 2014

My challenge is simply to create a project (tag, card, layout, etc) that includes at least one speech bubble. You can stamp your speech bubble(s), use a diecut, draw your own, whatever you'd like to do. And please include stamping on your project, I will allow either stamped sentiments or images or both.

Here is a Sample Card using speech bubble stamps.

Challenge Rules:

1) Make a finished project (anything- card, layout, tag, etc) using at least one speech bubble.

2) Use at least one stamped image or sentiment, either or both are fine for this challenge.

3) Please check the challenge box and then link your project to THIS Discussion Thread.

4) Yes you can combine this challenge with other challenges.

5) There will be a RAK for this challenge.

Good idea. I think I will need to draw my own. Thanks for allowing that.

I have never bought a speech bubble stamp on purpose, but I have several that have come in sets. This challenge was a great opportunity for me to work on my goal this year of using more of my stamps.

In addition to making cards this weekend I am trying to finish my Dec Daily album, so this is a tag for the page when we were out slogging through the mud on a tree farm picking out a tree to cut.

Speech bubble is from CTMH. I punched the star from the cardboard type insulation used on the outside of take-out coffee cups. I really like that material for adding texture. Sometimes it is corrugated lines, but this was more like a waffle texture.

This was a fun challenge! I haven't used this stamp in some time and it always makes me smile.

I finished my card yesterday and I'm pretty sure I posted in the forum but don't see it today????? Anyway, HERE it is. Hope it gives you a smile too.

All the entries are so great!

Marshia. I can practically see your doggie waving his tail & shaking his head.

Sarah. Love the froggie getting 'attached' to his dinner!

'Sophi'. Terrific combination of good stuff.

I finished a piece that has a bubble. Sending it off for photography & will share it soon as I can.

Fun challenge, Michelle!

I stamped 2 bird images and had them facing each other as if having a conversation. I then used an oval circle stamped image to create a thought bubble. I stamped the sentiment and then used a pen to draw dots show which bird was saying what. I added 2 orange triangles at the end of the dots to get the thought assigned to the proper bird. This was a fun card to make and a fun way to incorporate a sentiment or text into a card. I will do this more often with my cards. I also like that it brings the card alive with dialogue and the sentiment is not so flat.

Michelle, this was a fun challenge to do. It worked out great, I had just got this stamp set that was loaded with speech bubbles.

Please ignore my smudges, that's what happens when you stamp late at night! The recipient is a teen boy so I doubt he will notice!

Thanks again, Michelle! I really enjoyed this one.

It was so fun to try this out. I made a cute little valentine out of an ATC.

Thanks for this great challenge!

I can see myself using speech bubbles more. It will be fun to try them on kids' cards.

This challenge was a lot of fun! Thanks for organizing it for us. I made my first speech bubble card and really liked it.

I missed the Winterfest deadline so made it for the Hangover Second chance challenge. Here is my card.

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to have my name drawn. You do know though that I did all these challenges just because it was fun not to win a RAK. In case you don't know that I just wanted to say it, there really is no need for the RAKS, I would join in anyway. But thank you!
