April's New MoodBoard is out. It is full of clouds, blue colors and other spring tones.

TwoPeas April MoodBoard on Pinterest

If you are inspired to make a project with this mood board, please post it here so we can all check it out in the gallery and leave comments.

If there are a lot of you interested, I could set up a blog for this. However, I still am thinking of it as a more informal challenge, taking advantage of the inspiration that TwoPeas provides.

Thanks Heidi! I love the colors this month.

This is also some good inspiration for the April tag too!

Oh yay! I have been waiting for this thread so I could link my card...lol
I am really into these aqua and blue colours lately. Having the dark green this time opens up a world of opportunity.
Other than Xmas, I have been thinking these colours would be great for fishing cards and sports themed cards. Have been playing with some fishing images so hopefully I figure out a design...so far my mojo is resting! linky

Here is my first for the April Mood Board Challenge, Heidi.

Hope your advice from last month still stands...that the moodboard cards do not have to have a stamped focal image. This is one of the quick cards I made with my neighbour at our weekly papercrafting day.

Lovely Maureen. I need to write up something to put by my craft space that says, "Remember to try embossing on patterned paper." Great card.

I feel very far behind in crafting this month. I hope when I do get moving I can accomplish a lot of the great challenges already going on!

Here is my second card inspired by the April mood board. I hope it is still OK to link non stamped images Heidi. If not, just let me know.

This card is for a fortnightly Christmas Card Club I belong to. We live all over the world and take turns choosing a new theme. There is no formal prize...the prize is that we will each have 24 finished Christmas card in time for Xmas!

You know I look at the mood boards and I have even printed them out but I cannot for the life of me match the colors worth a toot. I finish a card or layout and hold it up to the mood board and it just doesn't match. I must be colorblind or something. I am not sure if I am going to try again this month or not.

But I do enjoy looking at everyone else's projects using the mood board as inspiration. Thank you all for posting them.

Maureen, I just got around to looking at your great snowman card. How awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Sadie, please do not take this that seriously. If something on the mood board inspires you and then it goes in another direction, you can still post it. The mood board is NOT just a color challenge, the photos and other things can inspire you too. Does that make sense? I don't want anyone to get too caught up in the details for this informal challenge!

Sadie...I agree with Heidi. I chose my image topper from the moodboard colours. The corner dies were the right shade of green but not the rest of the green papers I chose. I was planning on my mats and accents in the mood board blues but did not have the right shades. So I ended up using reds and the moodboard redish pink is really just a suggestion of corally red.

But I used the board to chose my topper and went with the flow and the papers I had. If you look at the pinterest mood board page, the garden girls seem to be taking the same approach. There are all sorts of layouts that seem to have taken just some inspiration from the mood board and run with that...and that is good.

Ok, this one has the pink, turquoise and blue from the Moodboard. In fact it was the turquoise and blue that inspired me. I know my green is a little too limey but the Pinterest board has layouts with my green too!

I am really enjoying the mood boards. I wish Two Peas shared a little bit more info about what inspired them etc when they chose it. The theme can be a devil to track down! lol

Another fantastic card!

I have been remiss in getting much done this month. I really do like the mood board a lot and hope to get some projects done.

Maureen, good point about what the Garden Girls are pinning regarding this mood board. Also good point about wanting to know more about their processes.

I made this project for the mood board. It ended up a bit more shabby than it started with as the patterned paper just really looked good with the imaged I colored.

I haven't been on the 2Peas forums in age, but decided to see what was happening on the Stamping board.
This moodboard is inspiring, so I may just jump back in.

Here is my latest card. The photos in the mood board influenced my choice of stains used.
This is only the second time I have played with the TH stains...it was fun!
