Welcome ladies! sorry I'm such a klutz!!
My neck is so much better than it was yesterday. I sat with a microwaved neck back on it most of the day yesterday, and took advil before bed last night, so slept so much better!!

QOTW I know some of you in other countries have already celebrated Thanksgiving, but in the USA, we celebrate in about 2 weeks!! So, if you've already celebrated, tell us about it, and if you haven't, tell us your plans!!

Our plans are to spend Thanksgiving with my son's family this year. They live about 7 miles from us. My ddil comes from a BIG family, and I'm told close to 30 people will be there. She's amazing. Having that many over for dinner would freak me out, but she takes it all in stride--like she does it every day.

I'm taking a couple of pies!

We also have a big Thanksgiving at our church every year. That will be Sunday after service. I'm taking green beans and rolls to that one! I'm looking forward to both.

Some people are destined to entertain. My mom is the same way with fixing big dinners. Loves to do it and doesn't stress about it at all. Me? I'm not as casual about it. Heck fixing dinner for the 3 of us sometimes freaks me out. LOL

As for Thanksgiving, the boys will be with their dad, thus I believe are going across the mountain pass to the other side of the mountains to spend it with the ex's wife's family. I will be going to my mom's as will my brother and SIL. She's 81 and will fix the whole kit and kaboodle (turkey dressing, mashed potatoes (my favorite), asparagus, jello salad, a waldorf type salad, cranberries, olives, pickles...and pumpkin pie.) I will do my share of eating as much as I can. Afterwards since we don't have the boys, we probably will go {at least mom and I) to the casino for a couple hours if she isn't too tired. I usually spend the night and do the black friday sales but this year there isn't really anything I want so doubt I'll do that.Besides it's much easier to buy things on-line although mom doesn't have internet.

So that's my plans. Can't believe it's already Thanksgiving.

Glad to hear you're doing better Deanna!
I'm currently going to physio for a damaged ACL joint, so no more walking or yoga for me for a while!

QOTD: We celebrated Thanksgiving in Ontario this year with our younger dd and her fiance, his parents and my sil and her family. It was lovely to spend time all together.

Wow, Deb, I'm not nearly 81, and just reading all your mom is planning on fixing for dinner wore me out! She must be quite a lady. You are so lucky to have her!!

We will be going to my oldest dd for dinner. Everyone brings a couple dishes and it makes a wonderful feast. We might have to go to my sister-in-laws at noon, but I sure hope not. It makes it so hard doing two dinners.
