Well, here in the states, it's TURKEY week! I love turkey. On Facebook I keep seeing messages from PETA not to eat Turkey--go veggi, but that doesn't appeal to me at all!! (the veggies are ok, but no TURKEY??) No way!!
My Thanksgiving shopping is done--and 1/2 of my Christmas shopping is done. We put the Christmas tree up on Friday, and it's supposed to be 70 degrees here! It just isn't right!!

Turkey is one of my faves too Deanna! Last year when we were in New Zealand for Christmas we had roast beef for dinner and it just wasn't the same!
QOTD: Black Friday has never been big in Canada and I'm not one to brave the hoards of people so I may do some cyber shopping but that's it.

Hey there, Ladies! I wanted to stop in and say hi and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
QOTW: The answer is no - 2 years ago I went to Wal-Mart at like 3:00 in the morning because my daughter wanted a computer for Christmas - well I was at least several hours too late for a sale that wasn't starting until 5:00 a.m. I have NEVER seen anything like it and vowed that I would not ever be part of such craziness again, because clearly I wasn't quite crazy enough to stand in line for 6 to 8 hours ahead of time.    
Anyway, I have not had much scrapping time in the last month - been busy trying to learn the 2Peas ropes, so to speak. But this week I did participate in the digital Gratitude Challenge (you should all play along too)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I don't go anywhere near the stores on Black Friday. At best I am not a shopper and have for a lot of years shopped catalog and then online for Christmas. I love it when the mail or UPS truck pulls up with more packages. Everything that comes is like a surprise all over again. Really fun. |

Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends!! It's a day for family, traditions, and most of all, remembering what we are grateful for. We really do live in a wonderful country. I'm thankful for family and friends everywhere, and for the opportunity to live in a free country where we can worship as we choose! Praise Him! God Bless you all. |

Thanks Elaine, I hadn't seen the Black Friday Blog Hop so now have added some great supplies to my stash.
Being without internet for 5 days is amazingly debiliating. I really missed not being able to check into email, and message boards, and not being able to shop online or even read ads online. WOw how did we ever live without internet?
So now I'm making up for it. LOL
Ok I did scrap some. Here's what I finished while hanging out at my mom's.
