Gosh,we're changing YEARS in just a few hours--HAPPY NEW YEAR ladies!!
qotw: Do you make goals for scrapping??
I never have, but I might this year. I think I want to do more paper layouts than I've been doing the past three years. I lost a BIG Ct today. Scrappity Doo Dah's last day was today. I've been there as a site CT for about 2 years. I'm really going to miss that place. I was more at home there then anyplace except here--mostly will miss the friends I made there. There wasn't really any indication the site was going to close until they made their announcement a couple of weeks ago. Totally left us in shock!! Even the designers. So sad. They are all scrambling now to find new homes! Some have done so--others haven't made their announcements yet.
Well, enough of being sad. All that to say I may have some extra time to work on some paper layouts!!

Paper layouts - wow, that's all I can say about that.  I cannot imagine myself ever returning. I've thought about hybrid from time to time and then I come back to my senses. LOL. 
Happy New Year to all of you - I am more than ready to get back to a non-holiday routine. As much as I love the holidays, I'm always glad when it is over.
QOTW: The only "scrappy" goals I've set for myself the last few years is to take a photo a day - I accomplished it in 2012 for the second year in a row. I will continue into 2013.
I scrapped a non-Christmas layout tonight - done for myself only. Very nice feeling!

Janelle, I say paper layouts because my grandkids love to go through the albums when they visit. They only see my layouts on my facebook page otherwise. I really should make a few BOOKS of my layouts I guess!! Maybe that will be my project instead!! I have this whole room full of supplies though, that I feel rather bad just dumping!! |

I'm the same way Deanna. I still have tons of paper supplies. I'm hoping to work on a few paper pages too this year - my heritage album and a couple of half finished chronological albums of 80s photos.

The designers that left have started a new scrapbook store Debi. It's called pixels & Company. I think a few more are going to be leaving in the next month or so because there are still a few slots opened at p and Co. on their facebook page. The lady that seems to be running dhd is the other owner that is still there I think. I don't spend much time there, as I have other things going on that doesn't leave me much online time at other places!! I'm still a ct at Scraptakeout! A lot of the CT members from SDD have gone to another website (scrapbookbytes) to stay together. There are a lot of challenges there that I'm trying to take part in!! |
