Lisa, I'd like to know about technique, and themes for example a couple of years ago mustaches, and owls were hot. So what hot new themes have you noticed? Also other hot things, like ink, tags, etc... I haven't a clue what is hot now. Thanks Love Penny P.S. Also does anyone have a link to which color will be hot for this year? |

Here are the "hot colors" for spring 2013 according to Pantone. I <3 them!
((hopefully that isn't too huge!))

@Debby -I think a couple of the magazines would like the pages to appear 'reproducable'. Meaning that a person could look at it and pick out different layers and details. My impression is that this is the case with Scrapbook and Cards Today, and CK. ST will pick up a wider variety of pages.
If anyone disagrees, please say so! I haven't been pubbed by a couple of other mags so others may have different thoughts or experiences.
Trends -what's new or hot. Chevrons, washi tape, mist, the latest and greatest product, new or different ways to use a product (point this out in your project description).

I've seen lots of camera embellishments and the geocach symbol thing, the tear drop with the circle cut out in it. Also lots of layering is hot right now. I've noticed velum is coming back. I've seen people attatch it with the tiny attacher with I love cuz you don't see the tape through it. |
