Sooooo I'm considering a few changes, or shall we say "enhancements", to my blog...
But my question is...if you were looking for guest designers or contributors, how would you go about finding them. Also, what if there are specific people you'd like to ask to guest blog, etc?
Hope this makes sense! It's early! Lol |

I started to do this at the beginning of the year and so far it's been a success. If I like a person's projects or style - I just contact them via email or peamail. I explain to them that I'd like to have them as a guest designer on my blog and give them any dates or details. So far no one has turned me down and I've already had my January Guest Designer (Tina Walker) and have two other lovely ladies lined up for February and March.
Just be friendly and don't be to intimidated to ask anyone! The worst that could happen is that they give you a polite no. |

Ditto what Christina said. You'll never know unless you ask. |

Thanks ladies! This is what I was thinking too. I'm super shy so wanted to get your opinions before I jumped in. Thanks! |

Agree, although I do offer to put their badge up linking to their blog, website, or a project they are participating in for the month they are guesting. |

Yes, definitely include a link to the person's blog, web site, etc. and give a little bio/intro too. |

I had an author as a guest blogger in Dec.. She was once a moderator of a popular Scrapbook website, so she is a great scrapper. She also ventured into writing, and has had several published books, including her latest one that involves a scrapbook murder mystery. I know she would love to guest blog on anyone's website as she is still in the process of promoting her latest book. If you are interested in contacting her for a guest spot on your blog, here is where she was a guest on my blog:
Christina Freeburn
It was super easy, and it gave me a break from blogging for a day, back when I was trying to blog daily. I also think it helps because often readers get bored with just you blogging constantly. It's nice to have a fresh face every now and then.
If anyone would like to be a guest blogger on my site, just let me know. All I ask is that you must actually do a project, whether it's cooking, scrapboking, DIY, whatever as long as you are doing that I don't mind if you promote your product or Etsy store, but I don't want my viewer's just spammed. It's also a great way to reach other's who in turn might start following you.
Here is a link to her Facebook page:

Oh I'd def link them up! Thanks again everyone. And thanks for the link, Penny!
Once I get details ironed out, I'll post again in case anyone is interested in guest blogging for me. I'm working on at least two month long features...one in May and one in August, as well as 3 new weekly features. |

I just thought I would post this link to see if anyone else was interested in linking up to this blog list. It posts on a blog that posts on Pintrest as top crafting blogs. I don't own the original blog so it doesn't give me any credit for spreading the link.
