sold in the US? I'm being published in the Canadian Scrapbooker magazine as well as Scrapbook Trends this summer and some of my US scrapper friends wanted to check it out! But I'm not sure whether they'll be able to see both. Anyone know?

I've never seen it here. I've looked a few times in both Barnes and Noble and Books A Million (which bought a lot of Borders stores). I'm not sure about Borders as we don't have any around here. Its such a shame too as I've heard such great things about that mag.

Have a question for you too actually, can USA residents submit to it? I wasn't sure as some of the wording on calls seems its for Canadian residents only.

Thanks for the reply!

I looked on their home page and found this quote:

This upbeat magazine is about Canadians, for Canadians, by Canadians.

So I'm going to say they probably only take Canadian Submissions

Yeah, that's what I saw too, which is why I was kinda wondering lol. One of the Aussie mags says something similar but takes international subs. Thanks, I guess I just needed another opinion on that.

There is an app for I devices and you can purchase a subscription or a specific magazine through the app store.

Hi Ladies,

The magazine is only available in Canada and yes, only Canadians can submit to this 'awesome' magazine! The editors want to keep the publication purely Canadian so that is why there are guidelines on the submission process.

However, even though you can't buy it in the states or elsewhere you can definitely have fun reading it by uploading the app for the magazine.

Thanks for inquiring about it.

Scrapbook and Cards Today, also based in Canada, takes submissions from all over the world! And it's a fabulous magazine to work with, first class in all my experiences

You can download the ENTIRE issue for free here , many scrapbook stores do carry the awesome paper copy, check with your local. If they don't, ask them to!

Also check out the blog and FB pages, loads of inspiration.

Congrats on the pubs!

PS, the Summer issue submission deadline is tomorrow, check it out!

Do S&C Today submissions need to be never before seen? It's been a while since I subbed to them and can't remember. Thanks.

I don't think SCT has to be never-before seen projects unless the calls specifies that. (I've had stuff on my blog picked up by them.) And I totally second mle's experience with them - they are a top-notch group to work with!

And to answer the OP, Scrapbook Trends is for sure sold in the US - so your US friends will see that! And congrats!

Just to add to what mommy2blueeyes posted - although usually just available in stores in Canada, readers from the US and all over the world can subscribe to the magazine or buy single copies from the website Canadian Scrapbooker magazine

Also, although we only typically only publish Canadians, American and international scrapbookers can participate in our monthly sketchy challenge (linked on the CS website)- any layouts posted in the gallery can potentially be published in Canadian Scrapbooker magazine regardless of where you are from. Usually one to three layouts are picked from the gallery every month.
