Hi everyone! I'm Jen, and I'm new to the site (by about a week, I think). I'm also new to digi scrapping and scrapping... period! I LOVE IT! I'm obsessed and it's all I want to do now!

I'm a SAHM to two: 3 yr. old Ainsley and 8 month old Owen. Before A was born, I was an elementary school teacher (1st grade) and I also have a masters in Library and Information Science (which I haven't used).

A friend from high school introduced me to the site, so I have to give her credit! Thank you penguinmomma (Amy)! I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's LO's and being so inspired by the creativity!

Hi--Glad to meet you all!!
If I'm reading between the lines here, I think we're up for some surprises sometime soon!

I'm Deanna--been here at 2 peas for 7 years now, but not that long on the digi board. I've only been digi scrapping about a year now--and I'm loving it. I think I even have my dh convinced it's the way to go!

I've been married forever, have 4 grown and married 'kids' and they blessed us with 14 grandchildren!! We have grandchildren ranging from 4 months to almost 17 years old now. They are wonderful. I was born to be a grandma!!

Now I'm anxious to figure out what is going on here--

Oh I'm having so much fun reading about new and old friends. Yep I'm not that new around here either. I started hanging out here about two years ago when I started digi scrapping. I paper scraped for about 5 years before I started digi. I LOVE digi and I love 2peas.

I am on the 2peas digi CT team too. I have 3 kiddos (ages 14, 12, and 6)

I am a digiscrap addict from the north of Sweden! It´s a cold and unfriendly place at the moment until everyone melts out of the polar ice in april so I need a friendly place to stay!

I have two children, Annie who is four and Arvid who soon turns two. I am working as a college teacher teaching History, Society and Swedish on a school situated in the most beautiful place.

I am happy to be here! :/:

great thread nicole!

I'm Cathy even though my username is cayla73.
Back when I came up with the name in college, no one used their real name....anyway, I've stuck with the same username and e-mail address for 18 years! (i guess now you know how old I am - you can also figure out from my username - LOL)

I have 2 daughters Sofia (5 yo) and Zara (8 months) - my favorite subjects to scrap and photograph - and a husband, Jamie. I am on the Digital Creative Team here at 2ps and i love it! So many great designers here!

I started digi-scrapping in 2006....with a free 2Ps kit by Rhonna Farrer. It took me a while to get comfortable with Photoshop. But now I use it almost every day!

In addition to digi scrapping (which I am addicted to), I also love paper and hybrid scrapping.

Hi there!
I've been around here for a long time but not that active, but that's going to change!
I'm Claudia, I live in the Netherlands, happily married and I have 2 beautiful kids. I started digi scrapping about 3 years ago and I'm an addict now.
I used to be a SAHM but starting this march I'll be working at the pharmacy again (1,5 days/week). I'm really looking forward to picking up my old job!
I'll start posting my pages, can't wait to get to know you!

What a great thread to start, Nicole.

My name is Janelle and I have been digi scrapping since 2006 (actually since our Christmas card in 2005) I was a paper scrapper before that. As far as 2Peas, I have been here for a long long time. But it is fun right now to see the digi side of things here picking up.

I am on the digital creative team here, and also for Jen Martakis & MaryAnn Wise. I feel so blessed.

I am the mother of 4 children ranging from 24 to 7 years old, and the grandmother of 2. I always joke that I had kids when I was too young and too old.

I try to take part in as many challenges on site as I can, but recently have been falling down in that area. Mainly I have taken part in the L.O.A.D. challenge that Deanna (Scrappin Grandma)hosts. I so remember when she did her first digi page - and I was tickled because I knew she would quickly be hooked.

I can't wait to get to know all of you even better - let's get this digi board growing like mad.

Great post Nicole!

Hi All (and Jen!)

I'm Amy- mom to 2 (ages 3.5 and 16 months). I work now as a business analyst but will be resigning soon and moving- we're military so that's pretty common. I've decided to be a SAHM for a while since we're moving to the state where all my family is for 3 years.

I've been scrapping on and off since high school, but stopped once life got busy- college, etc. I started with Shutterfly books when my son was born, but wanted more flexibility than their templates provided so I went digital back in September. Love it!

I'm thrilled to find this community- it's amazing and so supportive.

Here's my gallery link:
Amy's Gallery

My main focus is on the stories and pictures, but appreciate constructive criticism too. I want to get better so I'm enjoying the digital challenges, free classes & online crops. Definitely more experienced than when I first started.

Hello. I'm Amanda. I'm a full time working mom to 2 boys: 20 months and almost 4. I originally discovered 2peas in 2004 after I got married. I made 1 digital layout and then got so busy with life that digi-scrapping got lost in the shuffle. I rediscovered 2ps and digital scrapping about 5-6 months ago and have vowed to never give it up again.

I have a blog that you're welcome to read (in my signature). It's mostly a family blog but I post my LOs there as well.

Hello everyone!

I am Erin a "newbie" to digital scrapbooking but started paper scrapping, hybrid and digital cards in 2001/2002 after my first son was born. (I probably should change my screenname, since I have added two boys ) My BF in California got me started after I saw her scrapbooks. And I have been on 2peas for I think 7 years now.

My main job is Mom to my three boys, ages 8, 3 and 2. But, recently I just started working part time as a Childbirth Educator.

Thanks for starting this fun thread!

Let me be organized...

Mostly SAHM (that works p/t) to 3 cheeky boys ages 11, 6 & 5. And my little lady arrived May 2011!

This is a fun thread Nicole. Thanks for starting it! It's nice meeting new 2peas friends.

I have been married to my best friend for 20 years this year! WOW. We have 2 kids, boy (10) and girl (12) and have a history of taking a ton of photos before and after having kids. So I have a ton of material to scrap!

I did my first few digi LOs about 2 years ago. I didn't really get hooked. I dabbled in Stampin Up, taking classes and buying stamps for a few years. I had a niece and a friend who were encouraging me to paper scrap over a year ago. I started getting hooked on that and I bought tons of supplies. I was addicted to buying stuff! But it does make a big mess. So back in October/November I started hanging out here and got inspired to digi scrap again. Now it's all I want to do! (I want to continue to paper scrap and use up the supplies I bought! Maybe some hybrid.) This board has been wonderful for friendships and inspiration. I love it here!

I worked FT for the last 3 years. But recently was laid off from a company I had worked for (FT, PT when kids were little, FT) over 20 years. Company is folding. I'm a graphic designer/art director. Now I'm home figuring out what I want to do next and hopefully work from home! I love being home again, but it's very quiet. So it's nice to have friends here at 2peas to keep me company!

Welcome newbies! It's a great place to get inspired!

Hello everyone!

My name is Alicia and I've been on Two Peas for 7 years. So, not new at all.....just newer to the digital side of it. I am a hybrid crafter. I've never been much of a traditional scrapbooker. Instead I enjoy making paper & digital cards, invitations, and whatever other project I decide to tackle. I do hope to start doing more digital layouts very soon because I love Photoshop Elements.

I am in Tennessee and have been married to my wonderful husband for 4 years. No kids yet. I've been unemployed for over a year now and am still job hunting (Administrative Assistant).

I'm Helena (Huh-LAY-nuh)--I've been scrapping since early 1998 and digi for the past four years or so. I'm designing now, too, and do way more designing than scrapping. Though I don't do a whole lot of designing, either. I've always got two or three things going at the same time. My new project right now is painting a backdrop for a model train set up. Haven't started on the actual painting part yet, but I'm excited about it.

I have two kids born on the same day (four years apart).

I'm completely obsessed with Korea and determined to get back there somehow, within the next few years.

Welcome to all the new's so nice to get acquainted with you all and learn more about the gals I already know here.

My name is Lorell (long "o", short "e"....rhymes with the dishes called Corelle). I've been a member here at 2Ps for about 7 years, but didn't really start taking part in earnest until I discovered the digi-board here about two years ago.

I was a paper scrapper for about 10 years before I got into digital. For those of you who don't know my story, dh and I tried unsuccessfully to have children for most of our marriage, and finally decided to file adoption papers. After they had been in about a year, we received a call that changed our lives. That was the summer of '06. We ended up adopting our children, who were at that time 6 mos, 18 mos, 2.5 years, and 3.5 years old. Yep, they are all only one year apart. They are now 4,5,6, and 7. It's the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's also a very great blessing to us all.

As you an imagine, trying to paper scrap with such young children was a living nightmare, so I got into digi-scrapping out of desperation! I didn't want to give scrapping up, so I've been at it now for about 2.5 years.

I love it, and will never completely go back to paper scrapping. I'm doing pretty much digi only right now, but when the kids get back into school, I want to do more hybrid stuff.

Hello, I am Tracy, married to Walter and together we have 5 children - Michael, Daniel, Joshua, Christopher and Alexandria. We live in New Zealand.

I love being creative and over the years have explored a lot of different mediums, in 2006 a friend showed me some of her digital art. I had to know more and haven't looked back, only forward learning new techniques and ways I can share my digital art.

I'm with Deanna -- what the heck is going on with Vinnie and Heather? Do we have a whole new design team from Vinnie Pearce's site? Excellent news, if so!

I'm Liz, married 25+ years to my high school sweetheart (who is message board shy, so you only get to see pictures of him from behind, lol). My daughter, Kelly, produced the new love of my life, Sadie, 2 years ago, who captivates 98% of my lo's. My son, Dane, recently graduated from college, and has now officially made us empty-nesters!

Welcome to the newbies. Looking forward to whatever announcements you designers are dying to tell us!

Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm also addicted to digi scrapping. I could do it all day and not even realize how much time has passed!

I asked my DH to take the kids out for my bday last year so I could stay home and play. I caught up on some of the digi classes I've signed up for at Jessica Sprague's site.

I'm currently taking the Pen Tablet class and having a ball (although I'm falling behind again).

I have 2 kids (9 and 12), 4 cats and a foster mutt.

I'm also a student taking Spanish 2 right now. 1 more class and I can FINALLY transfer!

Hi to everyone.

I'm Shawn, a WAHM to 3, well 2 are still "at home", my baby girl has been gone for about a year and time flies. I see her often but it's hard when your first one leaves!

Anyway, the boys are 8 & 4 and a handful!

I've been here for about 8 years, stopped scrapping about 2 years ago (I still do an occasional card or notebook but no real pages.)

I'm a web designer by day so I've always dabbled in the digital side of things...I've been using Photoshop since version 5 and it is my most favorite program ever

Love this board and the friendly people here and can't wait to see it grow!

My name is Kristia and I'm just here for the digi porn

I first started with PSP in 2002 to make a signature for a forum. So then I made siggies and then web banners and web graphics. Then I got PS 7 and a book from the library on photo editing. Then I became a paper scrapper. My friend was into it and although I knew about digi scrapping and had the knowledge of graphics programs to do it I went the paper way. I've wasted sooo much money on a paper stash. When my LSS shut down and I stopped going to classes I stopped paper scrapping. I did a couple of hybrid pages and then just digi scrapped since. I did my first hybrid in 2008 and my first full digi july 09.

I spend many more hours looking in galleries and forums than I do actually scrapping

Hello everyone! I'm Angie, and I have been around 2peas since 2002! Time sure flies! Anyway, I don't get to hang out as much as I would like-pesky job takes up so much time...
I am a wife of 17 years to a wonderful man, and I have 3 great kids, ages 15.5, 13, and 8. A peek in my gallery will give you many insights into our life. They are a very active threesome, so we are away from home a lot!
I have been digi scrapping for about three years. I love drawing and designing things on the computer, but I also do calligraphy, and hybrid scrapbooking. I love making crafty things too.
I teach 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. There are so many new faces on the board. I am looking forward to getting to know you!

I'm just here for the digi porn
Me too, forgot to say that.

Where the heck are all these baby peas coming from? You're very welcome to join us, I am just fascinated by how many have held their hands up on this thread. Nicole, did you post this in the baby digi peas welcome section next to the digi porn section?

Hi everyone! I really enjoyed reading all your posts. This is such a supportive and friendly community. I've been a member for about 4 years I think and did have a brief hiatus between feeling overwhelmed with my huge paper stash and selling the lot and converting to digi with my MacBook and Photoshop CS3 then 4. I am exclusively digital now.

Married for 11.5 years to an awesomely supportive guy. We have two daughters, Bailey 10 (Monday actually) and Chloe 6. Loving this age as we watch them develop more independence and sense of self. Although life during their younger ages was fun too, this age allows me to begin gaining free time for myself again ... more time to scrap!

We live in the country just outside a small city in New Brunswick, Canada. My husband and I both work full-time. I have the greatest job in the world in admissions at a private arts school. It is an energetic, rapidly growing and rewarding environment.

I am, like many of you, I am obsessed with digital scrapbooking and work at a computer much of my workday then come home to my laptop after my mommy duties are over.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the gallery and on the boards

Awesome thread to start Jen! I see some familiar faces and a lot of new ones! It's awesome to learn a bit about everyone!

I've been on peas for six years. I LOVE Peas! I'm a traditional paper scrapper who has been converting to hybrid work as a way to cut down on stash! I'm proud to be a brand new Digital Creative Team member here at Peas! It's awesome to be part of this digital community! I also design for 2 Sketches 4 You. It's a site that posts card sketches each Monday and invites everyone to playing along. Great community there too.

I've been married for 18 years this April and have a son named Christopher, hence my user name! Below is my blog address and my Etsy addresses where I sell some of my crafty goods. You're also welcome to look over my gallery...I have over 800 projects posted! Wow!

Hello, I too am following a few people over here...

My name is Karen, on other forums I am Pebbles. I am a SAHM of an almost 3 year old little girl. I work part time from home (telecommute) and when I am not running after my little one, keeping up with the house, our cat (George), my hubby, and work... I love to scrap. My husband calls it my crack!

I have been doing digital scrapping for about two years or so. I have taken a few breaks due to work getting in the way of my personal scrapping time!

I am very intersted in getting into some hybrid projects and hopefully doing more digital LOs as well.

I am looking forward to getting to know the community here.

What a fun thread! I'm Stef (but Stefanie is ok too!), and I'm totally and completely hooked on digi scrapping. I never did traditional scrapping- just too artsy craftsy for me. I have been a design professional for over 35 years, as an illustrator, graphic designer, and toy designer. I've been designing toys for over 25 years, both ful-time and freelance. I currently work full time as a designer for Spin Master Toys, designing for the Liv doll line. I've been a Photoshop user since 1998, and I got into digi scrapping in 2006 because I was asked to teach a class in digital scrapbooking for our Church women's organization. I had no clue what I was doing, so I just started from scratch designing an entire album for display. I made all my own pages, and elements, and I've been doing it the same way ever since. I prefer to design and create my own 'stuff', it just seems more personal that way. I found 2Ps in 2007, and have been active here ever since.

I've been married to my sweetheart Bruce for nearly 32 years. We have 4 children, and 2 sweet little grandsons. We recently became empty nesters (Like Liz!) when our youngest daughter moved to New York in January. She's only 18, and that was a hard adjustment!
I love the 2Ps community. Although I contribute & participate on a number of other sites, I consider 2Peas my Digital Home, and love all my sweet friends here!
I'd love it if you'd stop by my blog, it's been fun to accompany my creative work with creative words. (although Heather*T puts me to shame in the creative words department!) The link is below.

Hi! I'm Shannon and I have been digi-scrapping for 5 years and became a Pea at the same time. I'm from Wisconsin but started out my professional life as an Army nurse and met my West Point grad husband at Ft. Lewis, WA. I've been married for 23 years and have two boys--20 and 17. And we have a cute rabbit as a pet. I've transitioned from being an operating room nurse to being the IT specialist for perioperative services at our hospital--so I take care of computers instead of patients these days.

Well, lots of new faces and familiar faces! I'm Esther and I've inhabited the digi board for at least three years. I was a regular challenge participant - the digi challenge and others that are posted on the general board and the Pub. I haven't posted as much lately - I've been doing a 365 project and concentrating on my photography. But I'll have to catch up some time!
