Just wondering if anyone here is doing One Little Word? I've done it for the last four or five years with this year being the first year that I will take Ali's class (I'm doing a hybrid format). She has granted me permission to share on the blog here at 2Ps and I've already got my first post up if you all want to go take a look.

Loved your title page, Katherine! I've never done OLW before, and decided to try it this year. My word is "accept." Still thinking about how that will translate to pages though. Thanks for the inspiration! |

Thank you, Liz! As for translating OLW to layouts . . . that's the reason that I decided to take Ali's class. The prompt that she gave us for January was quite a doozy (IMO) and I'm still brainstorming how I'm going to work it. Keeping my iPad handy for when an idea strikes. ;D |

your page is BEAUTIFUL!! I am doing Ali's class for the first time this year.
My word is "BE". I still need to create my cards and pick a color scheme for the year.
Your's is so elegant....now I'm rethinking what I had been going to use!

Thank you, Marge! I'll make sure to look for your posts over in the class forum.
As for the color scheme . . . I'm really drawn to neutrals for some reason. I figure with a neutral palette I'd be able to work in different colors throughout the year depending on the topic, season, etc.
Were you able to get January's topic done? I'm still brainstorming mine (I've managed to come up with one so far). The topic isn't really the easiest thing for the word I've chosen. Or maybe I'm just making it too difficult. Whatever the reason I've still got time to get it done.

Although I'm not taking the class, I've chosen ACHIEVE as my word and I'm tying that into my PL pages with some goal-setting, wishes for my son, family, etc.

I have not made time to tackle the January assignment yet. I've read over it but that's where it stopped! Hoping to work on it this weekend after some of our holiday loose ends are finally put to bed! It seems that with 3 kids, things just take me longer these days!!LOL |

I know exactly what you mean, Marge when it comes to little ones. When my three grandchildren (ages 7, 4, and 3) are over I get absolutely nothing done! And I mean NOTHING! And I have them over quite a bit.   
Don't fret though. Just go at your own pace and things will come together for you. I'm still brainstorming and have managed to come up with two intentions so far. I figure if anything I'd simply go month to month if I have to throughout the course of the year until I have all twelve.
