I have had a Wacom Bamboo Capture for quite awhile, but never really forced myself to learn how to use it. I've been playing around with it. I thought I'm supposed to be able to use the pressure sensitive when I use brushes in PSE9, but I don't see the option for that anywhere. Does anyone know?

I have an Intuos 5 and LOVE it. Though I'm not familiar with PSE9 (I do have PSE10) I googled setting pressure sensitivity for PSE9 and came up with this . . . Adobe Community . . . the first reply will tell you how to set your pressure sensitivity in the program you use.

Also, read through some of the other replies. It appears that there was some type of issue with PSE9 and pen tablets (there is a download/update that resolves the issue).

Hope that helps. Let us know if you get it resolved.

I figured it out finally and have been making myself use it more! I think I will mostly just use it for masking/cloning in PSE. Thanks, ladies!

Love my tablet! I have the Bamboo touch and love it. The pressure can be tricky to set, I agree. Also, on my PC, whenever Windows does a major update it knocks the Wacom driver out of commission, so if you find that your tablet is suddenly not recognized, just re-download the driver.

The best thing IMO about tablets is the ability to control very fine precision work. For extractions there is no better tool.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE my intuos tablet, it's my second one and I absolutely love it. It really helped me to put the mouse away, off the desk and just go cold turkey. it really is the best. I love the flyout menus offered in the intuos.

Aloha,
