Are you doing PL this year? Have you done it in the past?

Do you have your "plan" for the year in place? Style? Template? etc.

When do you work on yours?

Lots of questions that I'd like to open the discussion regarding.

PLUS, Kimberly Kalil shares her second installment of a year long series regarding Project Life. This week she shares some great tips for memory keeping thos PL moments even when life gets crazy!

You can find the blog post right here!

I'll go first - I am doing PL again this year, although I have not yet completed 2012. I've been really good at keeping notes and pictures organized all year, so that doesn't discourage me at all.

I haven't started 2013 - mostly because I overthink what style I want to use. That needs to be decided pronto before I make myself nuts.

I use an actual paper journal to keep notes in - but have to admit I am intrigued by Momento. Thinking about downloading it tonight - doubt that I'll give up the paper journal because it is with me always (even more than my cell phone) but thnking I should step into this century and take better advantage of available technology.

Momento looks really cool! I need to check it out too. I'm not a PLer, but I do enjoy everyone else's pages. I can only imagine how fun it must be to go back and read the journaling on past years' lo's, it must be such a fun reminder!

For my 2013 PL album, I am going with the paper version. However, I am using the digital PL chilhood kits in a hybrid album. I love being able to edit and recolor cards. It has made me tempted to purchase the digital versions of other PL kits!

This doesn't apply to digital scrappers, but I stick with Design A page protectors for the base of my album. I use the other page protectors as inserts, as needed. This makes planning my album much easier!

This is my 4th year doing PL. I have learned that having a routine is key for me. I have sort of refined my process to simplify over the years. I also break things into steps, so that I don't feel like I have to devote a chunk of time at once. Once you have your routine in place, it is much easier to stay caught up.

The Momento app looks like a good idea. I have a pretty good sized planner. There is plenty of room for me to make notes about what happened during the week that I might want to include in PL. But the facebook items would be neat to include.

I started Project Life in October of 2011 and I do paper/hybrid. At the time I was planning on starting in January of 2012, but the page protectors were in stock at Amazon and I was reading so much chatter about PL that I just had a feeling that if I waited until closer to the start of the year it would all be sold out. So I ordered in October and when it showed up I just started right away What I've done when I fall behind is condense 2 weeks into a 2 page spread or even a month on a 2 page spread. And usually when I've fallen behind there is something sidetracking my attention and I probably haven't taken that many pictures so I'm OK with the condensed spreads.

This year I'm trying 1 page per week using the F pages, which have 1 4x6 and 10 3x4's and so far its working out pretty good. I also got an iphone 5 for christmas and the camera is just so much better than on my old phone that I find I'm taking most of my pics with it. Just have to remember to go in and delete the duds on a regular basis!

yes, I love the flexibility of being able to recolor. Or to convert a 4x6 card to a 3x4.

I don't do PL but I have enjoyed looking at everyone's. I am an event scrapper and not an everyday scrapper so I don't take pictures that often. I guess I think my everyday life is too boring to take pictures of.

I wasn't sure that I was going to PL this year. Mostly because I feel like my daily life might be a little too boring. But right before my 30th birthday (January 14th) I decided that I would do a digital album to celebrate my 30th year of life. So it will run from January 13th of this year until January 13th next year. We'll see how it goes.

I originally thought I would use I use Julie Billingsley's Lifetime Templates but I used Traci Reed's Slip Ins for my first week. I may use a combination of them both. I did start the cover page with the Lifetime Templates.

I don't use a journal because I'm planning on keeping up on it each week. Maybe I should start at least keeping notes on my phone. I ALWAYS have it with me. I also think I'm going to include pictures that my husband and friends send me.

I am kind of a "scrap-the-everyday-moments" scrapper, but I've never done Project Life. I love doing December Daily, but I think I would feel overhwhelmed doing a photo per day. I might do a month in review layout each month, though. I have not decided yet.
