I just got photoshop elements 11. It's a big upgrade for me as I was using 5 before. I'm looking for some tutorials or maybe even a blog or something to help me learn how to use all the fancy features and cool effects. Any ideas where I can find some help?

I think Jessica Sprague will probably be updating her videos to PSE 11. She has great classes.

I just checked out her website. I've never heard of her before and I'm thinking of taking the beginner class. I don't really know that much and have been kind of limping along so hopefully that will help. I'm still looking for blogs or something that might have tutorials as well. I see all the cool effects you guys have on your layouts and mine are pretty limited.

I don't know of any blogs that step out digi scrapping on a regular basis. There's one called Texas Chicks Blogs and Pics that has regular tutorials for photo editing in PSE but they don't scrap over there.

I'm still using PSE9. Haven't made the upgrade yet but it looks to be worth every penny.

As Liz said the classes taught by Jessica Sprague are great. She made a video when PSE11 came out which walks you through and is worth watching just for her fun commentary on those silly effects like the leopard background you can check it out here

although not specifically scrapbooking oriented, there are some tutorials on the adobe website about some of the new features in PSE11 as well as some in YouTube. Many of the features are the same as in PSE5 just in different places; that takes a little getting used to. Hopefully soon I'll have my own copy of PSE11 to try them all out and I can learn along with you. I've been using PSE7 quite happily til a Windows Upgrade wiped it out. I'm sure there will be more tutorials popping up soon.

Hi Ladies

I have a lot of tutorials for PSE11 on my site http://digitalscrapbookinghq.com/learn and on youtube at http://digitalscrapbookinghq.com/youtube

These 2 are a good start:

Glad I popped in on the Digital forum today. I have PSE 11 and I'm not getting the hang of it for some reason. I had an older version and it seemed more "natural" to me to use. Can't understand why this version is throwing me??

I meed to bookmark this thread. "Mr. Brown" just brought brand new PSE11 software this afternoon. I have been using 9, so hopefully there won't be too much of a learning curve - I will definitely be checking these videos out! Thanks, Peas!

I have 11 and haven't touched it yet, I rarely used 9 and was comfortable with 6. I know I need to break down and try 11, but it is so different.
