...Keep this board alive? Maybe instead of a weekly 'post your latest layout' plus challenge, do a separate thread? Do a weekly technique share or something? I hate to see only 3 or 4 topics on the board (I think I have my settings set for showing only one week of threads).
It's so sad to see all of the digipeas take off for points unknown and rarely if ever, stop by here. I'm sure there are newbies who check us out and don't see anything interesting. I'd be willing to post a weekly topic of some sort.
Ideas?

Looking at some of the other sites-these may be able to keep it going.
Challenges. Freebies. ISO items

Challenges would be great if someone could win a 2 PS gift certificate for digi items. Or, if they create XXXX amount of layouts they get % off or free digi items.

Are there any CT calls?
I should know the answer to this-but I don't subscribe. Is there a 2 PS digi newsletter?

Digi debates? Not sure about topics for digi debates, but I'm sure there can be some debates!

Are new 2PS digi products featured on this forum?

Introductions? Why not have everyone introduce themselves.

Find a local digi scrapper.

Digi crops? Where are they? Does anyone want to get together to do a digi crop?

Daily FREEBIE downloads.

Wish list: what products does everyone want to see?

Lessons: lets learn more about digi and how to create items.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for your suggestions, Cindy.
We are sad here that there are no longer digi Garden Girls or a Creative Team. When we had these talented ladies on the digi side of scrapping, we always had weekly challenges, newsletters, and of course, products. Now we have none of this.

Several digipeas have stepped up, and are posting informal challenges, and a weekly posting thread. But we need to generate some enthusiasm and participation!

As far as CT calls, I think it's against the 2Ps TOU, but maybe not any more, since 2Ps isn't in the 'digi business' any more?

I love the idea of having digi debates, or maybe we could just have a lively discussion on a regular basis. There's an introduction thread, but it's slipped back to another page. I'll go and BTT. Maybe that might get something going. We could always create controversy. That always seems to work on the NSBR board.

It's hard to get excited about a site that got rid of what we work with. I felt right at home for many years here--and it's sad to come here now.

I know what you mean, Deanna. For me, what it showed was that 2Ps lost interest in supporting our digiscrap community. I never understood why. But I guess what it boils down to is business. I know lots of sites have closed, stores have closed, things have changed. But I was never clear why they couldn't just pare things down a bit, not abandon us completely.

I have no good ideas but I wish there was a way to make it more active too. With so few of us visiting anymore--that is hard though.

I agree with all of the above and find myself guilty of not checking here nearly as often. I will try to do better. Maybe if each of us introduces a new topic once every week or two, it would help get the board active again. When people see that it is active, maybe more will participate.

I love the friends I've made through the digi board over the years and it is sad to not see most of them here any more, but it is difficult when there is no support from the site for product or challenges.

Personally I don't need more product, and I like doing challenges or learning a new technique for the experience alone, but I know many were encouraged to win prizes. But without any digi product on the site other than cut files which to me, really is hybrid not digi, there's no use for a gift certificate.

But I'd love a weekly challenge. Perhaps each one of us regulars (Stef, Shannon, Jane, Me...and who ever else would like to contribute) could pick a Monday a month (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) and post a challenge...could be a color challenge, scrap lift challenge, journaling, technique, number of photos included, or number of LOs completed or even a topic...I'd be game

Well--from someone who hasn't taken a single photo today--I was going to maybe suggest a challenge regarding a favorite Easter or Passover tradition. Does that sound like a good idea?

I like the idea of us taking turns doing a challenge or discussion. Shannon, since you shared an idea, why don't you start something today, or when you can. I can do one maybe next week- ill be in California, but I should still be able to manage something. Deb- can you do one the next week? Who else is in?
