Hey, stampers!

I am here for the last week of Stamp Camp and we will be stamping on fabric.

I have three samples and different techniques for you, along with a handout and video. Just click HERE.

Interested in a 2Peas gift certificate? Just create a project using fabric stamping and upload it to the gallery. Be sure to click "Stamp Camp Week 4" when you upload and you'll be entered into the drawing to win a 2Peas GC!

I hope you can all play along! Please drop by this thread to link us up to your project(s).

Let's get stamping...

Loving these awesome techniques, thanks for the great video, it makes it easier to try and follow!
I've never stamped on fabric before...well minus the fabric paint using foam stamps LONG time ago, hehe!
Okay, off to dig in my fabric stash!

Thanks Jennifer!

Great Video, and I do hope I find the time to try out this last week of Stamp Camp. Do I ever have lots of fabric - from many years of quilting.

Oh, I love stamping on fabric, currently loving denim. But, I have a question about the velvet...I've had probems getting a clear image and wondered if you need to use a specific kind of velvet? Isn't some velvet cotton and some synthetic? If I have that right...which did you stamp on in the video...I'm dying to try it on my daughter's dress! But I don't want to ruin it by "testing"

Hi!
I have done that on my girls' dresses years ago - it looked great.
I am not sure what type of velvet it works on. I would recommend going to the fabric store and finding a similar type of fabric with the same content and trying it out. I know that I have done it on many different velvets/velours and it has always worked. I am sorry I don't know more. Maybe I could do a google search. Will try it tomorrow...
I hope you all can play with this camp week!

Great tutorials. Just wanted to pop in to say that you do need some synthetic in the velvet for this to work. Cotton velvet won't melt and give the image you need. I used to sew before I started stamping

Well, this is my first ever post (of any kind) to the Two Peas site... I am sooo green in this, and I'm not sure if I'll find this page again! haha. Thanks so much for the video and demo cards, they are fabulous, and I definitely want to try this!

As to the velvet, I never knew you could stamp it dry like that. I've always wet the stamp first (spritzed with water). And regarding velvet types, here's a link that I found a while back about the differences. I have definitely experienced "less success" with certain types, but I really can't say I have extensive experience! Thanks again for the inspiration, Jennifer!

I got mine done. It's very basic and lacks a lot of color, but it was nice to try out. I did try the heat embossing, but it seemed to just get absorbed, so you can't see it.

This was so much fun! I didn't stamp on fabric for a while and I never embossed on it. Loved the effect, the melted EP almost looks puffy. I made four cards for the challenge:

Flower card

Fabric card

Pear card

Flower card 2

Thanks so much for the challenge Jennifer! And thanks a million for Stamp Camp, it has been awesome.

I got to finally sit and try this one, I found a piece of fabrc that was from a sample book (no clue where it came from!), it had a canvas like side and then a shiny side. It didn't turn out too bad, at least I hope, but I will definitely try this again with a different material... most definitely going to get some canvas fabric!

Finally I could make time for joining this class.
I took methods of the heat embossing and the stamping with StazOn ink,
and made this one.

This was my first attempt of heat embossing on a fabric. Thanks so much for the class, Jennifer!

Here's my fabric card anyway. I would not have done it had it not been for the challenge and all the wonderful entries I've been seeing all week. Thank you, Jennifer and everyone who posted cards.

I could not find a Category when uploading for Stamp Camp week 4? I saw week 2 but didn't know if I should check that.

Thanks - I am new to these stamping challenges and just want to make sure the layout gets in the correct spot.
