Hello again, everyone!

Welcome to Part 2 of Week 3 of our class. The first project/video/pdf for this week is up HERE.

This week focuses on Paint...Ranger's Paint Dabbers. Today's video talks about creative ways to stamp with paint.

And, of course, we need prizes! Each week we will offer a challenge. Just play along and we will pick a winner of some prizes from Hero Arts and Ranger. Please post your project by Sunday, 7/5 at 11pmEDT.

The challenge for this week is to use any of the techniques presented in the videos/projects for acrylic paints. You can use any products, but we would love to see some Ranger and Hero Arts! (Both companies donated a TON of prizes.) When putting them in the Gallery, don't forget to click the appropriate box indicating your project is part of the Thinking Inking Class, Week 3.

Also, please link your project here on this thread so that everyone can see it.

Enjoy!

I see the PDF but it's not printing correctly. It's huge so I only get a few words on a page. I've never had this happen before. Is anyone else having this problem?

I print out the PDFs as well. I had to click Fit to Printable page and it printed fine. Otherwise it just prints a tiny square.

I may have to pop in and get a set of these Dabbers. I have acrylic paint in the regular bottles, but these look really nice.

I just tried printing it, and had the same problem with it being huge. I'll play with it later to see if I can figure out the problem. Love the video, though, and these are some great ideas! Now I definitely need to get some paint dabbers!

Yay! A fine excuse to play with my new polka-dot background stamp.

By the way, here's a stamping-with-paint tip from Stacy, my stamping buddy:

If you want "home made" or grungy look with paint, put Versamark or some other clear ink on the stamp first, and then put the paint on. You'll get some areas where the paint is repelled by the embossing ink, similar to the kind of look you get when stamping with felt embellies. The added bonus is that it makes it much easier to clean the paint off the stamp. I've tried this a couple of times & it works fine for me.

I had the same problem with printing, it basically just prints the bucket and "two".
Never had this problem with any other PDF's. I'll try the other gals suggestion at printing.
thanks

ETA: Definately unable to print!

I can't ever get the videos open here, but have been able to in youtube.com, although I can't find tonight's. How do I open them on here?

I also had problems printing the PDF for this one.

I'm suffering from withdrawl, please help! Loving the videos, but my credit card will be smoking soon from buying all the new toys!

Jennifer, thank you so much for all of the work that you've put into these classes! Let's just say, it's worth all of your effort - I'm having so much fun playing with inks! I have loved all of the different ways that you are showing us to use the supplies we either have or have to have . I'm not a big stamper, but these are great ways to do cards & things with different mediums & I'm using most of them.

A big "THANKS"!

I had such a great time playing with heating up my Ranger paint dabber paint! I've had that dabber for ages but had never opened it until now!

Here's one of two projects I made with this week's techniques:
