Cut 8x11 cardstock or buy small size for card "front"

Sorry if this is confusing! Here's the question,i have folded cards that I have been using but now I'm getting into more serious stamping etc. and it doesn't look right just on the card front. So is there a place you all buy just the card front "pieces" that you stamp on, etc.? And then glue to the card? Or do you just buy letter sz cardstock and cut it to the right size? Thanks,

I do both, but mostly have cardstock that I cut to size. You get two cards from 8.5x11 piece of cardstock.
