|Posted: 1/12/2013 9:01:12 PM|My baby girl looks so darling in purple, that I find myself buying a majority of her outfits in the color. But in looking at my stash, and now at upcoming releases, I can't help but think nothing will ever match my pics!
ETA: I really like the look of this new Prima line, so thought I would link it in case others had missed it who were on the hunt for purple also.

Graphic 45 Secret Garden has lavender, its quite pretty, did you see it?

I have noticed that purple isn't really a big color in scrapping supplies I wonder why.. I hardly ever see anything purple I own like 50 rolls of washi and not a single one is purple or has purple in it or any of my pattern papers... Hmmm

Lavender's pretty. I wouldn't mind if it showed up more often on patterned papers.

Not a purple/lavendar fan here.

I'm in the opposite boat. I have a 5yr old boy so I'm always struggling to find good lines that aren't cutesy kiddie but also don't have pastels and flowers all over them.

Seems like I only see it on Halloween now. KI Memories used to be big on lavender/purple.
Bring me that horizon!

I love scrapping with purples. The new LYB line Fern & Forest Girl (I think?) is purple. I don't know if it has the shade you are looking for though.

I also love lavendars and purples. Used to be around a lot more. I have lots of little girls to scrapbook and they all look lovely in lavendars!I can still find them, but not nearly as many patterns or solids to select from.

Thanks everyone! I just checked out both the LYB and the G45 lines, and love the purple! Oddly, the LYB I noticed that all of the paper titles are "dusty pink" or "dark pink" although they definitely look purple. I will be so curious to see them in person!

I love any shade of purple but I don't use it on my pages. For some reason, I am completely intimidated by the color!

About a year ago I needed lavender for my DD dance pictures and all I could find at the time was MME, it was so frustrating.

For those of you that are looking for color like me, check out Prima's "Hello Pastel." I am not into Prima flowers, and never pay much attention, but there are a few really cute papers!

I know for sure that K and Company "Poppy Seed" has lots of lavender and teal. I found a stack at Walmart and I picked it up to round out my colour selection.

I love purple.... but like lavender in supplies when it's mixed in with some yellow, green & pink and a touch of brown. Like in BG's Kissing Booth.

I think they don't use purple because it's very polarizing - people either love it or hate it.
It would be nice to see it used in everyday lines instead of just haloween

Yeah I agree.
And there was a poll a while back on GS about scrapping and colors and like 90% said they can't scrap with purple. So I guess that's why the companies don't make it. It probably doesn't get purchased. And notice the color of my font, I am a total purple/lavender lover. And BG's "Kioshi" was one of my all time fave collections. But I admit, using too much purple on a LO would throw me off.

Here's that new Hello Pastel line from Prima. And I should say that I agree with everyone who has said purple can be overwhelming, especially if baby girl is already wearing purple clothing. I really just want to have some embellishment options for pops of color, or some nice smaller patterns for layering.

Best Creation has a couple older lines that had lavender and/or purple:
A Walk in the Garden
But you're right, it's not a color often used by the manufacturers.
