So I have a big bottle of glossy accents which can't be more than a yr old- the problem is when I do go to use it gs always clogged or the tip is dried up so I have to pop it off and then try to shove a needle through it to open it back up- it's such a pain!! Anyone else have this prob? I make sure the cap is on tight, so I have no idea why it does this - or maybe everyone has this prob?

I have this same problem. I've heard it is quite common. I just keep a paper piercer nearby. Hopefully other people have a solution for this.

Jennifer McGuire (jennifermcguireink.com) recommends squeezing the air out if it and clearing the tip before you cap it which prevents the tip from clogging. I have done this and it seems to work. |

I use a straight pin to unclog mines. I also keep it upside down which I thought would help. It doesn't. |

Before capping, I place the plastic piece of a sales tag in mine (the little plastic piece that you tear off from a price tag on clothes). I got this tip from one of Kristina Werner's videos. Its been working well for me.

I put a plastic toothpick (the kind with the little arrow on one end) in mine before I cap it. |

Glossy Accents is one product I have not had a problem like that but I have had that problem with several other liquids. I keep an opened up larger paper clip to poke into the hole. It is long enough to go into the bottle some. |

Jennifer Mc Guire's trick is great and even when my Glossy is clogged, it's easier to fix.

I find that if I put the cap on as I'm working it won't clog as much.

I usually put a rubber band around the bottle and slide a stick pin under it. That way I always have something to unclog it |

I've given up on keeping GA or Diamond Glaze unclogged. Now I just unscrew the whole cap and use a toothpick or end of a q-tip to apply them. Next time I buy a new bottle, I'll have to try Jennifer's trick though. Maria

Yep. Me too. I use a pin to unclog it. You'd think that with so many people having this issue (and for so long) there would have been a proper fix for this! |
