I am not a clean-up-as-I-go person. When I'm working on something, I toss everything to the side in a big pile, including all the papers and stickers that I thought I might use and didn't. After scrapping 9 layouts for the CHA challenges, I have a GIANT stack of stuff to put away!
How about you? Is it all piled up, or do you put it away as you go?

Does it count that my desk was a mess before the challenges? |

Mine is not horrible, it's not great either! I have my Christmas October Afternoon out spread all over but that's about it. I've been working with it for a few pages now & have about 3 more to do with it.
I was pretty sick at the first of the year, spent New Years in the hospital. I didn't think I was going to get to participate in the challenges at all but I got to feeling a bit better a few days ago. The first day I was up & around I did a lot of organizing my scrap corner. I didn't quite feel like scrapping yet but wanted to spend some scrappy time so that's what I did. That's really helped me keep things pretty tidy the past couple of days.

It's been going in waves. It was pretty messy when I started. Then I straighten up the piles and put some stuff away. Then I start working mess it up and add more to pile. Wash rinse repeat. |

Mine was a mess before the challenges started too, as I had been working on my Dec. memory book! |

Yes it's ridiculous. Drinking another coffee to get myself motivated to organize. |

I had a huge pile! I usually clean up after each layout but because of the challenges I didn't bother. This afternoon I spent an hour cleaning up and while I was at it I purged a bunch of stuff. Looking forward to messing it up again this week!

Yes! As my work area gets reduced to about a square foot, much of it gets dumped in piles around my desk...which is in the corner of our livingroom.
The mess is driving DH mad which is great since he is on the verge of giving me "his" study as a craft room! He doesn't even use 90% of the room! |

"MY desk is a mess - I have like a 10" x 10" area of clear space to work in!!"
That's no good. You've got to keep at least 12" square so you can fit a layout on it! |

Mine went from not so bad to disaster with that last challenge. Finding 10 brands made a huge mess!! It was fun |

I managed to get a couple more in today, most I have EVER done! Now the dining table is piled, there are a few things on top of the dog crate, next to the dining table. And the desk in my nieces room now has a few things on top. Oops! |
