the more i think about it the more mad i am at ABC. they are the ones that edited it in a way that made us fall in love with jason and think he was the one, only to have the rug pulled out. and then because of that i really cant be happy for deanna and jesse. its a long time since an edit was this toward one person and that did start to make me think she choose jesse, but i think now i am going to be mad at abc for making me feel so sad tonight

i like it much better when the edit is more equal toward both parties.

I feel bad for Jason, but I did a happy dance when I was sure she was picking Jesse. I got on team Jesse about 3 weeks ago. I don't know what's with all the bagging on Jesse for being a snowboarder. What's the big deal? If you look back at him you can see what a beautiful man he is inside and out. It was so obvious to me on the After the Final Rose show how much they are hot for each other. I hope they do indeed get married on 5/9/09!!!

I have big doubts about Shayne and Matt making it...he looks like he's still into her, but she seems so over him. Maybe she's just a jaded Hollywood girl.

DeAnna is so full of it she TOTALLY picked Jesse because she knew that she WOULD BE FIRST in his life...ALWAYS. My gut tells me that she didn't want to be "2nd" when it came to Jason's son.

I'm glad Jason called her on how she looked at Graham and Jesse the same way...I too agree that DeAnna has a thing for "exciting" non predictable guys. Hey, that's cook, but it comes at a price sooner or later. DeAnna probably thought Jason was too predictable, too "homey" for her.

She clearly said she wants to travel and be her guys number #1 priority...and sorry, that just wouldn't have happened with Jason. He's a father and has other priorities as well.

She clearly said she didn't know who she was when it came to Tye (sp?) which to me says she's not used to dating guys with kids. She tried, but she's not comfortable in that situation.

She TOTALLY led Jason on. She knew her gut feelings the whole time and STILL she led him one...I'm glad he called her on it though and I hope he moves on SOON.

The way she and Jesse were all over each other was as if they were trying too hard. Whatever, DeAnna she lost a good one in the end

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE SHE CHOSE JESSE OUT JASON, GRAHAM AND JEREMY? Dude is BEYOND fugly...

I would have picked Jason in a heartbeat and they edited it to make you think at Deanna would too. They even set you up by having her family want Jason too, and probably told the sil to say one thing and the sister the other. I truely believe this. I also wonder if that jeremy visit was also set up by the producers. They wanted you to possibly believe she was going to be with Jeremy as a twist.

I agree with the poster that said deanna doesn't want to be # 2,a nd with Jason she might be risking that. I don't think she really is ready to immediately be a mom, and it was either the editing, or Jason wanted to believe she was perfect with Ty.

Did anyone notice this........

The handwriting looked similar in both the scrapbook and in the game board. I'm wondering if the producers made up those props. Maybe Jason and Jesse had the ideas, but I think they were made for them. When compared to that note Jesse wrote on that scrap of paper last night, the writing didn't look at all the same. It also seems strange that they both would have had a homemade gift for Deanna. Plus both gifts had the same theme.

Why do I dislike that Shayne Lamas so much? There is something so artificial about her. Somethign so Hollywoodish. . . . LOL

My thought was the same regarding the scrapbook/game. I thought my both guys give her something like that on the same night.

I guess my question is ---when the heck did they have the time to put something together?

I feel for Jason. I hope they'll do the show in his hometown so he can be with Ty too, although Ty shouldn't be too pulled into this in case it doesn't work out.

I am definately in the minority here. I thought Jesse was strange to say the least at first. But he grew on me, just like he did on Deanna. He changed throughout the show. I don't think it was for her either. I think he wanted to be a better man for her. I thought he looked way hot on the hometown date and last night. I loved his haircut. I like that he came there to have fun,and be her friend first. It seemed more realistic then Jeremy who skeeved me out from the first date being all ga ga over her.

I do feel bad for Jason. He would have been a great catch. I think he will find someone soon. Or be the next bachelor!

I thought they looked totally in love at the After the Rose. They were both glowing. I hope they make it, these things don't have a great track record

I too think DeAnna was trying way too hard last night. Its like she knew everyone would be saying WTH was she thinking, so she had to be all ga ga over him and really make us believe she is in love with him.

I don't know, maybe they really are in love. I just hate that she kept him around if she knew she wasn't picking him.

I also think she needed someone she couldn't walk all over. Jason is too nice for her.

I was disappointed with her pick but then her and Jesse started to grow on me. But then at the end she kept saying she's "pretty sure I'll be with him forever" and she's "pretty sure they can make it work, etc."
Why set a date if you're only "pretty sure."

I don't think they'll make it. I don't think it's either of the guys, it's her. It's an ego thing.

Why? I don't think she did anything to Ty. Daddy is the one who went on the show, presmumably in hopes of meeting Ty's new step-Mommy. He certainly didn't have to take her to meet Ty.

No matter how much DeAnna may have cared for Jason and Ty, I don't blame her if she didn't want to inherit a lifetime of ex-wife bitchery. ANd it sure sounds like Jason's ex is a real winner. The short time they were doing the show wasn't nearly enough for DeAnna to get the real scoop on what happened (and continues to happen)in that ex-marriage, IMO.

Well 12hrs later and I think I'm still dreaming. I wanted Jason! The more I read posts and think about it, I have to agree that Jason is far better off without her. I do have to wonder about Ty and what Jason said to him about not seeing DeAnna anymore, etc.

The ABC people always try to outfox us viewers, so if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is. I don't think we got to see nearly as much about Jessie and his real life as we did Jason. The producers made us think that Jessie was some flaky snowboarder with no real job, etc. Also,as far back as I can remember, the loser always comes to the final ceremony first!

That's not always the case. There have been at least one or two shows where the loser was actually shown coming to the rose ceremony last, but I can't remember which ones they were. Does anyone else remember? I'm sure that ABC does it to put a spin on things every once in a while.

See and there was something about Jason that just struck me as kind of off - I can't put my finger on it. He seems like a very sweet man and a wonderful father - but something was off. And really, what would Deanna be walking into - motherhood - no real "honeymoon" phase or anything - straight into wife/mother mode.
I am glad she picked Jesse - I think he seems like a really great guy - and there is no question as to how they feel about each other - I really hope these two make it.

I'm on the Jason team too. When he had his shirt off last night, I was thinking he'd better be the next bachelor! That is some nice eye candy! That would be neat for it to be in Seattle too. Hopefully the ladies there know what the Space Needle is (DeAnna sure didn't). I don't see it going the distance with Jesse. I don't necessarily blame DeAnna for not wanting the instant family, but she should've let Jason go along time ago. I think she maybe picked Jesse to spare Jason and Ty if things didn't work out (since they normally don't from these shows). She picked the one that it would be easier to break things off with. I could be way off there, but I really don't see the chemistry between Jesse. Maybe she breaks it off with Jesse and winds up with Graham?

i dont blame deanna at all. i blame the producers for not showing us her and jesse falling in love. i really dont understand why they had to show us more of jason and then have it be jesse. its hard to be happy for jesse and deanna when we werent really shown their love affair.

did anyone else think it was strange that she never really talked at the final rose ceremony? doesnt the bachelor/ette usually make a speech to each person and that at some point they let one of them downn? it just seemed really weird and blah of a rose ceremony (her not picking my guy aside)

it also bothered me that deanna just stood there waiting for a proposal without talking first. like she did for jesse it was like "come on, propose already". she didn't even start with a speech, "I have chosen you....or I have chosen someone else" argh!

Jason will have NO problem finding someone Did you see all the pouty faces the women had in the audience, they truly felt for Jason.

Ty is 3 years old. I don't know why DeAnna didn't let him go after the hometown date when she clearly saw how much it was breaking Ty & Jason's heart to leave each other again. Sorry, but I still say she knew over the last couple of weeks who she was going to pick.....she didn't just make that decision that morning like she claims she did!

Yeah, I also thought it was strange that she didn't say much at the rose ceremony. She must have loved having 2 men get down on their knees to propose to her.....big ego trip, I'm sure!

Another thing.....I wonder how long Jesse is going to put up with DeAnna & her family trying to change him? First, DeAnna has a suit delivered to him for him to wear on the individual date where she even made a comment that she's not trying to change him (yeah, right!) & then last night, her father kept telling both DeAnna & Jesse that he didn't like his long hair & he needs to keep it short! Why can't they just accept him the way he is?

i thought they were going to have both men propose with no answer from her and then split screen leading up to the final moment, so we wouldnt know who she choose until both men had a chance to speak....

also on other sites people have screen caps that show it was heavyily edited, sounds like jason actually said more then what they aired.

and i also dont buy that she choose that morning. if that was the truth i'd be mad if i were jesse. i think she would have known much sooner.

Jeremy was on the DFW area morning tv show today. He talked about his appearance on the show and getting rejected. He said he was falling in love with DeAnna and felt sure he was going to be "the one". Then he said something like "she is the master at deception and rejection..."
when talking about himself and Jason both feeling they were "the one"...
I wish I had hit the record button, I would like to go back and replay it - the tone was that DeAnna knew exactly what she was doing in leading the men on.

if you say "hi" to a guy they think you want to have sex with them. of course he's saying that.

But she did take Jeremy to the "fantasy suite...". She didn't have to take him there if she had already made her decision to not pick him - as she said - before the fantisy suite card came out.

Yes, it was the show format. However, she mentioned BRAD and how BRAD mislead her and "broke her heart" in nearly every episode. I expected her to not follow the format... Then turns out, she did the same thing. I got a little tire of hearing how BRAD done her wrong...

I did like Jesse best and knew she was going to pick Jesse when she was sitting on the couch with both Jesse and Jason. She had her leg crossed towards Jesse, classic body language.

I am not sure I would like DeAnna as a friend.

I think Jason was in love with the dream...the dream of having a family for his son. He said "I was so ready to fall in love. so ready for it." that made me think then that he was in love with the idea of falling in love.

Yep, I thought the same exact thing. The guy to me, just reeks of desperation. He's SO wanting to be loved and validated again after his ex left him for another man. I suspected as much and then he confirmed it last night. All along I was saying I knew she wouldn't pick him. I was really shocked he made it as far as he did. I was really disgusted he did use his son as a pawn in this, let's face it. Who in their right mind goes and does this, AND gets their kid involved? I mean, really. Most responsible parents keep significant others away from meeting the kids for a while. I hated that she kept him on the show. Like Jeremy, he was good on paper..but.

Did anyone catch how she overreacts whenever Graham's name was even dared mentioned?

Jason knew it too. I thought she was gonna bit his head off for invoking the name "Graham" to her. She got all hostile and defensive and Jason just dismissed her. I think deep down he knew it all the time but was in denial.

I seriously think she picked Jesse because he was safe, into her, and she was bound and determined NOT to go home empty handed again. Why the rush to set the date? Why SO over the top oogly over him? That was show. I think she's deluding herself about everything.

Sad, because real people got hurt...and I agree with the the thought that she did the exact same thing to these guys that the poor, vilified Brad did to her. In the end, even she had to admit she had respect for him.

At least he had the guts to be honest, and reject her too.

All in all, for drama's sake I think this was the best Bachelor/ette show since Ryan and Trista's.

oh, lol, and one more thought.

Wasn't it obvious that her family was not keen on Jesse, at all? The audience was pretty quiet too.

Jason, on the other hand got so many sighs and cheering I was starting to expect panties to start flying towards the stage.

Did Jesse receive the first impression rose the first night or was that Jeremy? I know he got the "song" rose. I wonder how soon she knew it was him and was just stringing the other guys? I highly doubt she could be so sure Jesse was "the one" if she supposedly waited until the morning of. I don't buy that but it makes for better drama.

This isn't the first T.V. show that Jesse has been on. He was the coach on MTV's "Made".

While I don't care for Jesse's looks AT ALL, I like him A LOT as a person! It makes me think more highly of Deanna too, that she chose him! He seems so genuine, sweet, caring, of high integrity - a great catch in so many ways! The mom in my worries about how they will get by financially (I have no idea what he makes as a professional snowboarder)!

Jeremy and Jason were absolute perfect dolls, to me. They are gorgeous and I love their personalities. I just melt when Jason smiles. His eyes are beautiful. Jeremy is just a dream. I just cannot believe she dumped both of them for Jesse, who to me is not goodlooking, secure, stable, sure of his future, etc....
I would move to Seattle in a minute!
I soooo want one of them to be the Bachelor just so I can look at them more. I am going to miss them.

I am very impressed with Deanna...she is a higher quality person than I thought to begin with.

You must not have seen the special a few weeks ago with all the guys she had rejected thru Jeremy - she was NASTY and MEAN. So much so, that the audience gasped a few times at the insensitive things she said to Graham and Jeremy. It was her unedited and her true personality came out - she is not a nice person.

Up until then, I had felt so bad for Jeremy, and Graham had been portrayed as aloof. On that show, I felt like Jeremy was darn lucky to have dodged that bullet, and Graham came off with class, even when Deanna was lobbing trashy insults at him - he refused to react to them and took the high road.

Jeremy agreed with me:

"She's normally really, really sweet to everybody and some of the comments she was making on The Men Tell All were very off for her," explained Anderson to Reality TV World.

Yeah, sure, she didn't decide until the final morning:

Pappas' final two suitors are Jason Mesnick and Jesse Csincsak, and Anderson said he has a "good idea" who she'll present her finale rose to after speaking with her at The Men Tell All taping.

"It's pretty clear to me, I don't know how it came across [to viewers]. But she all but told us," he told reporters. "DeAnna just elaborated on each of the guys and how great each one of them are and just some of the comments she made about each guy just made it painfully obvious to me who she was picking. She wants a guy that's going to put her No. 1 in his life."

When pressed by reporters, Anderson revealed he was talking about Csincsak.

Did you all catch DeAnna bashing Graham again last night? She told Jason Graham was nowhere near the man Jason is. It made her look bad.

I was disappointed with her pick but then her and Jesse started to grow on me. But then at the end she kept saying she's "pretty sure I'll be with him forever" and she's "pretty sure they can make it work, etc."
Why set a date if you're only "pretty sure."
Yes, what was up with that PRETTY SURE stuff? Not a good thing to say!

She was self-centered to let Jason go all the way to the final 2 if she was not going to pick him. She didn't think of him being away from Ty all that time for NOTHING.

I agree with those who said she needs to be #1 in her man's life. She knows Jesse worships her for being hot and that's probably what she is looking for.

Was anyone else annoyed how often she mentioned Brad throughout this whole season and last night?

I couldn't believe her Dad told Jesse he had to keep his hair short. Her Dad is worse than an evil mother in law. It's obvious Jesse has completely redressed himself for DeAnna. Although it's a definite improvement over how he looked on night one, I wonder if he's comfortable molding himself to what she wants.

Ratings for this series must be way up. They were in the tank for awhile ... just seeing this thread at 4 pages means people are watching! I've watched every season since season 2. I missed the Alex (?) Bachelor.

As someone else said, I could not be her friend in real life. She was a bitch on the first show and an egomaniac on this one. I think she has a toxic personality, so there

The mom in my worries about how they will get by financially (I have no idea what he makes as a professional snowboarder)!

I don't know for sure either but I know of a professional skateboarder who has made quite a bit of money so there is money out there in extreme/lifestyle sports ... Olympic athletes don't make money but professional snowboarders can ... there is a lot of money to be made pitching product related to the sport ...

I don't know why we are so surprised that DeAnna has turned out to be not exactly the nicest person ... remember the hatred most of the girls had for her during The Bachelor? She's always been looking for #1 ... I totally think she will stick it out with Jesse at least through the wedding because there is no way she's not going to want the hoopla that ABC will give her (like Trista's wedding) ... the actual marriage might last five minutes but she'll have the princess wedding

This was definitely an interesting season!

Love you, Mignonne! Totally agree!! She always struck me as someone who would not ever hesitate to stab you in the heart if you even slightly pissed her off.

From my understanding he owns several houses and a couple of businesses. He has something to do with product design for snowboarding. I don't think he's a "poor" snowboarder. kwim?
