I put the different sized photos in clear bags, then wrap the whole thing in teal tissue paper and then wrap in brown kraft paper (gift wrap style). I secure it with stickers of my logo, then tie it up with grosgrain ribbon in my logo colors. I have a hole punch I use to punch a hole in my thank you card (also in my logo colors) and I thread it through the ribbon before tying it in a bow. Right now I'm using brown, pink, and green ribbon (the green ribbon has white polka dots on it). I just delivered two print orders this morning, I wish I'd known and taken some pics of the packaging. The clients always comment on how cute it is. |

Toni- I LOVE your sneak peek!! Looks delicious. I am still in the process of getting my packaging the way I want. I'm currently using white envelopes (9x12) for standard prints, and I leave the larger prints in their original packaging. I have green tissue paper that matches my logo, stickers designed with my logo and cute little notecards with my logo. I am thinking about going with either white or brown boxes, but am hesitating because of the cost. (I know, I know, the couple dollars per box is nothing compared to the print order.) Try doing a search for "packaging" in photo discussions for "up to 3 months" and "3-12 months". Then do the same in the photo gallery. I bet that will turn up some more stuff! |

The best packaging I've ever seen if from Phreckles Photography...(Marie_C) is her peaname.
I've seen shots of Jess's packaging and really like that craft paper. The others here look good too and Toni, you're such a tease
I like uniformity in packaging. I'm in the process of figuring out how to do mine, so I love getting ideas from others. I love raffia, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it, without it getting all messy |

Okay, Toni, I am dying now from curiosity! Is that clear and brown polka dot stuff a bag or what? I would love to find some cute clear, polka dot bags to package with! I was given a clear and white polka dot bag a while ago with a gift and I have been on the hunt ever since! It was a flat bag, and would be perfect for slipping large envelopes in. Please share! |

Wow Toni I love that! Where did you find boxes that match your colors. That is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't want plain black boxes. Can you share some sourcing tips?

If it didn't sound a little too prideful, I would include this on my notecards: (originally from a notecard I received with a Piperlime purchase)
Hi There,
We just want to say thanks for shopping at Piperlime,
We're so happy to have you as a customer,
and we hope you love your new purchase.
Please know, people may express a tiny bit of envy at first.
This is perfectly normal with Piperlime purchases.
Simply smile and pat yourself on the back.
After all, what can you say? You have great taste.
Enjoy,
Your friends at Piperlime
I loved their packaging, even though it didn't contain portraits. My order was wrapped in lime tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. Then it included the above note. |

Toni how many prints do you think you can fit in a box that 1/2" deep approximately? |

in a 1/2" I usually put two mounted or 5 unmounted...but they are wrapped in tissue so that takes up room too. |

I only use one tissue paper in the box, so it fits a few pictures... one mounted and several 8x10-5x7, but I have to put my wallets in something else... so that is a pain. |

I cannot find photo boxes other than DNL and they only have 4 colors to choose from. I guess I could use their chocolate ones but is there anywhere else I should look? Toni, your sneak peek looks so different than plain ol' boring brown boxes... |
