Hey ladies! I'm posting this because Debbi is away, Farzad whisked her away pretty suddenly, so here's a list for this week:

Patterned paper - My faves: Scenic Route, KI Memories (includes Love, Elsie), SEI, Prima, American Crafts

Specialty paper - graph or lined papers

Lettering - Chipboard letters, letter stickers, rub-ons, Thickers

Embellishments - journaling spots, felt, ribbon, rub-ons, brads or specialty brads, die cuts, buttons, butterflies, chipboard elements, phrase stickers, flowers, anything by the above manufacturers.

Tool/technique to try - In honor of Debbi, stitching!!!! Special praises for hand stitching!

Photos - use your photo editing program to either change the color, clone, extract or otherwise alter your photo.

Inspiration - Because it is my list, use a color combo inspired by a page in a home decor magazine. No cheating!

Special "Oldies but Goodies" Challenge: - Break out, I mean BREAK OUT something that is at LEAST 5 years old!!! I am talking OLD STUFF, but you MUST be creative and find a new use for it!!

NEW for this week!!!!

Digital challenge: Create a photo collage and span your journaling between the photos and another block in your collage.

Hybrid challenge: print out digital embellishments and use on your page.

Enjoy your week!!!

"The Rules":

- You don't have to use all the items on a layout--even one will do.
- You don't have to play every week, just when you want to.
- You can substitute any item for something you don't have.
- You can combine this challenge with other challenges.
- Everyone is welcome to play!
- Try to praise fellow challengers if you have time.

Have fun using your stash!

*Janet*

Hey, Janet! Thanks for posting this for me! I was fretting a little that I didn't post this before I left, but we left really early in the morning on Thursday. Farzad surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas for our 27th anniversary. Just got back today. We had so much fun, but let me tell you, it was HOT! On Friday it was 112 degrees.

We spent the whole time running, running, running. In four short days, we went to the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, saw Cirque du Soleil, ate at 3 Wolfgang Puck restaurants, walked around almost all of the casinos on the Strip, visited an exhibition of Titanic artifacts, rode a gondola at the Venetian, and more! Can't wait to scrap my photos!

Hi everyone!

Sounds like a wonderful trip Debbi!! I returned to South Africa last night and am so longing to scrap. The weather was wonderful when I was in Sweden so we spent most of the time outdoors. I didn't scrap for 6 weeks - I don't think I have been without it for more than a week since I started scrapping. But instead I have lots of new experiences to scrap about and thousands of photos.
