Nope, I hadn't heard it yet, making me once again the last person in America to catch up on celebrity news.

If this is true? it coould be Why no QVC scrap shows in the last few months, also the last time she was on the David "slap" happened which raised alot of issues. Even though they brushed it off it may have been the end of their dealing with her! Makes you WONDER!!!

I didn't know about htis either. Interesting. Not a big Lisa B fan but they did put together a noce sbmarathon. Wonder if HSN will be the go to for huge, cheap kits?

After that "Online Scrapbook Scrapganza" or whatever it was called on QVC that was nothing, maybe it's a sign of things to come with scrapbooking an QVC.

I think this got started because of the HSN ads on the Creating Keepsake site. It might just be a fluke. There is a scrap show on QVC in September, I think we will definitely find out then! I hope she doesn't go to HSN. That will probably mean QVC is doing away with scrapping.

This was all I found in researching this info.

Sounds like just a rumor for now.

I hope not as the SBing hosts on HSN just bug me for some reason.

Well, if that is what it's based on, then I wouldn't hold a candle to it....

HSN sold Creating Keepsakes kits and products a year or so ago. I don't know if they still do but they were in their inventory at one time.

Oh yes, the slap heard 'round the world. I remember it well. But I kind of doubt that that would be the reason if she is moving over to HSN. Everything is dollar-driven.

I find Lisa B. both fascinating and annoying to watch.

I hope this isn't true. I love watching LB and all the other artists on QVC. I'll even admit I plan my work schedule around the scrapbooking marathons. The slap was just a dumb move that wasn't funny. It backfired. I think we should just let it go. It obviously wasn't intended to hurt anyone, i.e. David. It was just a dumb joke that didn't work.

I hope not. I'm not a huge Lisa B fan, but I absolutely loathe the hosts on HSN - they are so loud and speak so fast, it's no pleasure to watch. Mostly I tape the QVC shows to watch later, and I enjoy the knowledgeable hosts like David and Lisa (? - the African-American host who scrapbooks too). And the demos are great, to see how new tools and machines work.

It's disappointing that QVC seems to be losing interest in scrapbooking - maybe their profits from sb have slipped? I know that while I love to watch these shows, I seldom buy anything. After years of scrapping, who needs kits with 56,932 pieces? Maybe other viewers feel the same, and QVC is not selling enough to make these shows worthwhile.

ok, i so hope that is only a rumor. i tivo all the scrapbooking shows on qvc and hsn. scrapbooking on qvc is soooooooooooo much better than that on hsn...to the point of why does hsn even bother to do it. they even do multiple shows per day, with all the same boring stuff on that i would never buy!!!!!!!!!!!

they are just so much more interesting on qvc.

as far as the slap goes, i was watching it at the time (probably while on 2peas at the same time) and i didn't even notice it. i had to go back and rewatch it after i saw all the hype here. either way, if she intended it to be funny or not, she should never have done that. especially on camera where other people can see it.

Say it isn't so I'm with baseballmommy...I also believe that the QVC shows are better. The sets, the hosts, and just the whole format. So if she leaves, does that mean the lady from Paper Crafts and SS will probably go too?

QVC is much better. I love Anna Griffin too. I like Lisa's stuff, but I wait for Anna's stuff. I think QVC did great with SB shows. They seem to always sell out!

Personally I would not miss Lisa. Not that I don't like her,but she is just to big for her britches now. Years ago she was lots of fun and creative, now she has other people do it for her and she just a selling giant.

I buy way too much stuff from QVC, not just scrap stuff. I sometimes buy from HSN too but am never completely happy with the merchandise and QVC has WAY better customer service. I don't care one way or the other about Lisa but I think we ALL should write QVC and tell them not to do away with their scrapbooking shows. If enough Peas write it could make a difference. JMO.

I agree with HSN being weak in scrapbooking; especially that Bird brand stuff it looks cheap and has very early years of scrap pp look.
Selfvishly; I would love the products to hit HSN as I am a few miles from their outlet store but I feel the quality is not there as with QVC. If HSN could provide the quality of QVC it would be great. Its just a wait and see Thing!

Wow, I am torn about that. I am sick to death of the lack of variety on QVC, but I will never watch a scrapbooking show on HSN.

Wasn't the lady that host most of the scrap shows on HSN a QVC host many years ago or am I thinking wrong?

I actually like the 3 birds products. I like how they have cute storage & I like the designs. I'm really not into most of the newest trends, especially the tatoo & punk rocker looking things. So, it's good for some of those that like the style, better.

I thought I saw items from the L&B (Lisa and Becky) rail system on HSN, but didn't really look into what it was exactly.

I used to hate HSN too, but I've noticed that they are slowly acquiring nicer things on their website. The prices seem a little better for what you get as well. (But I still love QVC more) I would hate to see Lisa B. on HSN, but I hate to see her on QVC too

I think both networks are overpriced -- the shipping is way high -- even when considering gas is up the shipping AND HANDLING -- is ridiculous -- JMTCW --

BTW -- don't much care for Lisa -- on QVC or elsewhere -- I always feel it is more important for her to SELL her products than share her true love for sbing -- does not seem genuine IMO -- sorry if this offends anyone but I am being brutally hones.
