Spooky Structures [non Arch]* Challenge Hosted by looser (Daniel)
Discussion thread |
Doesn't have to be a 'haunted house'--might be an 'outhouse' or a hollowed-out pumpkin/squash/zuccinni... You must use stamps in the piece, but may use anything else--ribbon, brads, flowers, chenille--that works for you. Cards, LOs, whatever are fine.
* "non-arch doesn't mean you can't employ arches in your piece. Just means they can't be purely Arches. Post your pieces to the Stamping Gallery, include Spooky Structures in the post & link them to the challenge thread.
RAK: Surprise!

A Card of a Different Size/Shape Challenge Hosted by ADisneyScrapper (Kristin)
Discussion thread | Blog post
Have you ever created a piece of art (ATC, Inchie, Moo, Arch) that, once it was finish, was put in a box or album never to be appreciated? I have, and I've decided to do something about it! My challenge to you is to create a card of a different size or shape. Create an inchie card- make the front of the card inchie size, but allow it to open like a card(like a small gift tag). Make a Moo card- moo-sized front that opens like a card. Make a gothic arch card- card shaped like the arch, front of the card is arch size and shape and it opens like a card. I can't wait to see what you do!
RAK: TBD

Three Things Challenge Hosted by 3bmom (Dawn)
Blog post | Discussion thread
Create a card, ATC, arch whatever you wish using: PATTERN PAPPER, RIBBON AND A STAMPED IMAGE!
RAK: 2ps Gift Certificate!

Resist This! Challenge Hosted by djc (Daria)
Discussion thread | Blog post
This challenge is for Wax Paper Resist. However, if you live somewhere wax paper is not available, do another type of resist and enter the challenge anyway. The blog has the description of the Wax Paper Resist Technique and general requirements; basically, you will be creating a super-easy background sheet and one card or ATC using your background.
RAK: TBD

Spiders Galore Challenge Hosted by neyw (Neysa)

Youre Such a Character Challenge Hosted by ckettel (Chris)
Discussion thread | Blog post
Create a card that has a character on it. You can use a cartoon character, like Snoopy or Mickey Mouse. You can also use other characters, like Bellas or Precious Moments. All cards must have some stamping. You will get one entry for each card you make. Feel free to combine this challenge with others. These cards will be sent to your nearest Cards for Heroes shipper after SOF. We're on the honor system, trusting you really are going to send them in. If you do not have any character stamps, you can still play. Be creative -- you can cut out a character from the packaging of kids toys, comics, or any other source you have for character images. Just remember, your card must have some stamping. Have fun!
RAK: three Peanuts/Snoopy stamps

CFH Language of Love Challenge Hosted by skrapchik (Lisa)

DETAILS ABOUT HOW OUR EVENTS WORK

1. SOF starts with challenge threads and blog posts going up on the Stamping Board on Friday Oct 3 at whatever hour the host chooses; hosts will begin them, and include any last-minute directions, so be sure to check them out! (Especially for the ones who will be adding a twist to their instructions to be sure you do not start ahead!) There will be a Master Thread (a sticky post version of this original post) and it will have links to both the challenge threads AND blog posts.
2. Upload your work to the stamping gallery. If you are new to posting, see the end of this original post for instructions.
3. Be sure to check the correct boxes under Member Challenges when you post. If you do this, your piece is automatically linked to the blog post.
4. Do not link to projects completed previously; we want to see your fresh mojo!
5. A single project may apply to multiple challenges unless the host says otherwise in their particular instructions.
6. Keep an eye on the stamping board for chatty challenges with RAKs that will appear during SOF!
7. Hosts can decide what time zone their challenge ends, so please look at their thread to see. You can start uploading projects once Two Peas has the checkboxes available in the Member Challenges section (when you post to the gallery, look for that link and see if SOF items are listed. If not, its not soup yet!)
8. Ask questions! During the event we will have an SOF for newbies thread, but feel free to ask things here for right now.

HOW TO POST IN THE GALLERY: See the newbie thread link above!
