Actually I'm suppose to be hanging laundry up and packing for our trip home to family's house for the holidays.

I'm slightly overwhelmed by not having the rest of my house clean and the laundry and packing done by now...

Not to mention a ton of digital scraping before I leave to post more los for the gallery..

yeah the chat is suppose to be going on right now kerry. I double checked the chat times before posting the chat thread for the ggs'.

I guess perhaps they had something come up. Too bad, I like checking in at the chats espeacially now that I have time.

I know how you feel about the house stuff. My house is a complete wreck. I find that through finals I end up having to ignore it and just do essentials like laundry, bathrooms, cook and clean up dishes. The clutter had collected so badly and exams are over, blinders are off and it is driving me crazy. Hope to get it somewhat organized before christmas. At least I have several weeks off.

LOL - it's a good thing that no one can see my house! alex is like a whirling dervish these days and trying to get him to clean up after himself is like pulling teeth. actually - that would probably be easier

This time of year is very busy. Sometimes its too busy to even enjoy it the way I'd like to. I'm spending some speacial time with my folks after Christmas and I'm looking forward to the nice visit and it will be a bit quieter. The kids love spending time with their grandparents and I don't have to cook... or clean. (I still help my mom though) So nice after a busy semester and hectic holiday.

I'm praying that this next week and half will be just that quiet and relaxing...though I have a feeling that we may be a little busier than I would like.

How about subsitute instead? I'm not quit sure that I could live up to everyone's expectations ...hehahehaa..well maybe I could it would be my own expectations of myself I may not be able to live up too.

I believe we set a higher expectation for ourselves than what others have for us.

Oh oh better watch out for those twilight books. My dd started them and I haven't seen her since she's been hiding out in her room with her nose in her book. She has read all 4 now and we went to see the movie together (I've only read the first one) last week she started the series all over again. The funny thing is she has never been a reader like this at all. I like to see her reading and enjoying it so much.

It really is quite good. It's a fun read. Well I can only speak for the first one but anyone that I've talked to raves about the whole series. And it's not just the 13-15 year olds that say so.

i tried to stay away from the books, but then my best friend recommended them and i was hooked. i dont' like anne rice - they are too involved and detailed for me. twilight is a great quick read. and a total star-crossed lovers story. the writing isn't fabulous by any means, but it has this addicting quality to it...
