Has anyone used these? Are they any good?

I got a 5-up to use for my 365 Project. It seems very nice. I like that the page protectors have 3 horizontal and 2 portrait pockets, that way I can put both in there. Oh, there is no place to write any captions or anything, in case you needed that.

We'll see if it holds up!

I bought 2 of these to use for my 365 Project, too. They seemed nice and were 30% off!

I bought one awhile back to use for unscrapped photo storage. Then I decided to use it instead for a quick "photo album scrapbook" of all our Christmas 2008 events. But I haven't started it yet. The album looks nice and I like the number of photos you can get in it, along with the mix of horizontal/vertical slots. Oh, and I also used a coupon!

I have a couple. They seem quite nice. Photos slip into the pages nicely, no tearing like some cheaper albums. I wish the colours weren't as bright though.

As much as I wanted to like these albums, I just don't.

I love the layout of the pics and the volume it holds but the way the pages fit in the binding causes the center 6 pictures to really curve over (meaning the pages don't lay flat)

Maybe that is okay with some people but that was a deal breaker for me. I just don't want my pics to 'curve' over like that.

Just something to look at before you buy it.

Is there any place to buy refills or extra pages that anyone knows of? I would like to add more pages, but no one seems to have the same holes as this same book! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I bought one today and was told that they might have the refills on their website since it was a new item. I couldn't find them and am also hoping that someone will let me know where I can purchase refills. I am using the album for thw 365 and need an additional 12 pages. If I can't find the refills I may just get another album. help!

I also have been looking for refill pages with no luck. To save myself the aggravation, I bought another album at 40 percent off. I'll just use 12 pages from that album.

I bought one today too. I think I will have to get one more to have enough pages. It should work out fine. I hope.

Since these just came out within the last 3 months, maybe by the time you need the refills (for the 365 project anyway), M's will have started carrying the refills?

I loved the idea of this album being 12x12 so that I can intertwine scrapbooking pages to serve as a way of separating some of the topics, however, I too am wondering if anyone has yet to figure anything out about refill pages. I've looked online and haven't found any yet.

I just bought one of these a few months ago and noticed they now have refill pages for them.

I posted up-thread last year about adding pages. Disclaimer, my albums are over a year old so I'm not sure if they are still making them the same way or not.

Inside the front and back covers are a black flap folded back towards the cover, an inch or so deep. Unfold the flap and you will expose two or three posts. I can't recall if it's at the front or back you'll actually see the screw heads. Unscrew them with a screwdriver. There will be a small bit of the post exposed that you can slip more pages on. Then just reassemble and screw the posts back together.

I only added pages from another album exactly the same, and only a few extra pages in order to do my P365 project in 2009. There is not much room for too many extra pages.

I personally wouldn't use the albums to include regular page protectors or anything other than the photo sleeves particular to those albums.

The album has held up well, by the way.
