Happy Monday everyone!

Welcome to the first month of my year long class, Celebrate the Seasons. On the 5th of each month I will be bringing you ideas for scrappbing those season specific photos. Click HERE to see this month's layout, sketch, handout and video.

I sure hope you can play along this month by creating a January themed layout!

By participating you will earn a class badge and the badge will also include a tally of how many times you've participated in my class. At the end of each month, I will randomly pick one winner to receive a prize! And we all love 2Peas prizes, right?!!? So, let's earn some badges! And don't forget to check the challenge box when uploading your project to the gallery to be entered into the monthly drawing.

I am looking forward to celebrating the seasons with you this year!

Upload your layout to the 2peas Gallery and check the box under Garden Challenges (Classes: Celebrate the Seasons January 2009).

And like Mel answered above, all information, etc. will be posted here for you!

Well I'm thinking I will try this-I've never done one challenge on 2peas-feeling slightly intimidated by all the talent here! But I'm in for this one. Thanks Nichol and 2peas for a free class.

I love your layout Nichol! I'm looking forward to lifting it! Living in the California desert, we were SO excited to get a bunch of snow a before Christmas for the first time in many many years, so I have a LOT of snow photos to play with!!
Love how you made your trees with the circle! and I love the paper you used, but I'll use something I already have! Thanks for the class.

Hi Nicole,
That was great! Hopefully this will get me to use more of my stach. As a cricut owner, I was particularly interested in the emblishments you used. Could you list the size of the cutes and the cartridges in the lesson plan? Thanks. Look forward to next month.

SORRY! I think I listed the Cricut Cartridge in the pdf but didn't give specific measurements. Sorry about that. Here's all that info and I will make sure that I give specifics in the future lesson plans!

Cricut Cartridge: Graphically Speaking (this is my FAVORITE cartridge!):

Large White Snowflakes cut at 3 1/2".

Blue Glitter Snowflakes cut at 2 3/4".

Red Glitter Snowflake cut at 2 1/4".

Blue Glitter Arrow cut at 8" long. (be sure to change the setting on your Cricut to Fit To Length when you adjust to 8" long otherwise it won't cut correctly for this project.)

Blue Glitter Word Cold cut at 4" long. (be sure to adjust the settings to Fit To Length )

Brown Cardstock Word Outside cut at 4" long. (be sure to adjust the settings to Fit To Length )

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions!

What a great idea! Unfortunately, "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" is all that I get. Fortunately, there will be some amazing person who can fix this problem so I, and others too, can watch, enjoy, and participate!

My entry will be one of those "summer" spreads.

Does anyone know how I can find the layouts done for this class, maybe I'd do a search each evening to see what everyone did? I want to praise them but don't know how to find them. Thanks.

Hi Nichol,

Thanks for this amazing year-long class. I know it will help me with my New Year's resolution in trying to get LOs done each month. I haven't ever participated in anything like this here at 2peas b/c I've been kind of intimidated but I'm going to give this a try. Thanks so much!
